Yes, congress leadership has been party all major condemnable mess the nation has suffered since independence. Alas , they keep coming back to rule us thanks to their sheer luck (even we ignore whateever little they have contributed to our nation for more than a century which certainly pales in comparison to himlayan contribution made by likes of RSS, Advanis, Modies,Akalis, muslim league and may others from both sides ,in the name of religion,castes, communities) and of course thanks to bigger mess made by Vajpeis, Advanis, Modies... Sai like many others like in the media , certainly hold a very long brief of modeis and likes . Congress comes certainly very handy to justify your ploy.

Why rake up an old issue now ? Nothing is going to happen. Cong is in power and its apparent to see that no one in this country can touch the great Gandhi family. It is a well know & obvious fact that the Cong engineered the 1984 riots, but watch the comission reports very closely. Every report makes it a point to protect the Big Fish. Yes, sad but true, the real culprits will never ever be caught. Sad but true, India is not a democracy , it is RULED by one family & we are the servants of one family.
The congress reaction to the Nanavati report and its inaction against the perpetrators leave a bad taste in the mouth. I wonder what a party would gain by keeping murders and rioters in their ranks. Shedding them and setting a precedence of justice would surely gain them a lot more brownie points than pacifying these murderes. India's progress in economic and artistic affairs has to be matched by a growth in political maturity. Unfortunately that seems far fetched.
