After years of liberalization & Free market economy, Wein India only need one final implementation, & that shall take care of all problems.
LET THE RULE OF LAW PREVAIL !!!!
Once this is followed no one shall dare to undertake another riots.
The beauty of USA even after all its foreign policy excesses, is that their citizens, how ever small, has its voices heard.
Thats the difference betwen India and USA and thats why USA can never go down.
Taking example of Vioxx controversy, we cannot imagine such judgements in India, not because Merck willnot pay to Indians, but due poor implementation of our rule of law.
It is utterly absurb to compare and comment "who's bad and who's worse" while commenting upon crimes on Humanity. And the authors comment on comparing the 1984 riots with that of 2003 doesnt goes down convincing. The Gujrat genocide was unprecedented by the scale of barbarity it unleashed. Daughters being raped infront of their parents, pregnant women being raped in front of husbands then their bellies are cut open and urinated.Small childrens being scalped by trishuls and spears. Perhaps never in Indian history has been the weaker sex being so brutally CUT! and it is this that sets Modi apart from the thousands of Tytlers and Tagodias(who only lead mobs, in their limited authority). Pardon me, if I say creatures like Modi cannot be punished by Man, its an act possible only for God('s), so we should be patient.
Mr. Saisuresh Shivaswamy should study nature and the philosophy behind it, which rules entire Universe! That is the truth. Scientific studies are nothing but observation reports of activities and properties of Nature! You may be aware of third law of motion of late Newton, a scientist, who said precisely that every action will produce equal but opposite reaction, which is applicable not only to motion but also to all activities in this Cosmos! Perhaps, philosophically, this is called "Karma" as enunciated in "Bhagwad Gita", one of leading epics of Hinduism, which is also perhaps termed as "Destiny"! No one can escape from reactions to their actions as per sciences as Newtonian law is Universal! When few committed a grave crime of killing a life, it produced equal but opposite reaction! Number of lives is not relevant here but the value of each life, which differs strictly on the basis of individual contributions by way of sacrifices made and services rendered! Similarly, in Gujarat violence too identical hypothesis can be applied, whether one would agree or not. A truth remains a truth , though ones understanding depends upon holistic knowledge attained by deep study of sciences, philosophy and religion etc.,! Understanding is extremely difficult in absence of knowledge of such interconnecting fields! We can understand opposition to such real opinions in absence of knowledge with right perspective! There is therefore no room for any party politics in such activities as the Karma as per Hindu philosophy, rightly supported by said Universal law of sciences, played its role!
It seems to me that the thrust of the article is "Let seeker's of justice flog Congress-wallahs more than they flog (poor) Modi (who did nothing)" rather than " Let us find, arrest, try and hang to death those who perpetrated and participated in allowing the perpetration of these massacres.
I personanly feel that such a long article is not desirable regardless the fact that the media has the freedom. Freedom should be limited within some, norms yardstick, within some parameters, Our country is full of various religions. If you are appeasing some one you are hurting the other. I understand our media people are more intelligent and possess indepth knowledge, they can write very well and can explain the whole incident/govt. schemes and legislations in detail. But it should be kept in mind that such news are also read by everyone in India, and abroad who may take undue advantage.

Hi,
I just want to let u know that the history of communal riots in Gujarat is as old as Congress. It is the Congress that taught and deepen the communal lessons and now BJP is just encashing on it. Communal riots were started by Congress when BJP was not even born. Even Congress CM Madhavsinh Solanki & Chimanbhai Patel failed to curb them for months (just like Modi failed). May be Modi learnt this style of failing from them only. Anyway these was just to request you that don't give all the credit of Hindu-Muslim riots to BJP only.. After all Congress has poured their blood & sweat in nurturing this tree of communalism. Please give reasonable credit to them as well. By the way Killing is a Killing and any Killer from any party or religion is a Killer. And a Killer should be punished for the shake of humanity if not for some religion.
There was nothing new in this article. Just the same old biased judgement of the scheme of things. 1984 is not the same as 2000. Indira Gandhi was a much taller figure in India than anyone else and Narendra Modi is not. But what happened in both cases was shameful and I am sure no one will be punished which adds much more to the grievence and possibly encourages political rioting, which incidentally is the BJP way of grabbing power. Though it "might" not instigate it, it goes to all lengths to gain milage out of it. But to absolve any other party is false as each and every one (as pointed out) is same on the ground. So, how come Rajiv Gandhi was more inept than Vajpayee. He even had reason to loose his judgement and balance due to the cruel assasination of his mother.
How does one say the same about Vajpayee and his ineptitude in dealing with Gujarat? Further, be it known that the all hindu-muslim riots and communal discord is the gift of BJP and that is how Delhi and Gujarat are different.

This sounds really funny. The Gujarat riots were in retalition to the murder of 50+ people who are in no way less than Indira Gandhi.
