it sets a bad precedent, just because he has kids and is the only earning member of the family, the accused should not be let off so easily, at least the compensation amount should serve as a deterrent for others. Rs 50,000 is unlikely to deter people from molesting innocent girls, the man deserves a much more rigourous punishment
