Mr.'So Called Only Benefactor of Mumbai'Thackeray is bothered about 105 people who gave up their lives for Mumbai, but will not even spare a thought for the reasoning to spearate Mumbai, so as to avoid thousands of people dying every year, i.e.950 ppl who died in these floods dont matter. If Mumbai is separate, then these politicians will no longer be able to siphon off funds allocated to Mumbai to somehwre else, and reap the benefits. I just have one point to say: Ask the people of Mumbai what they want.Let not these cartoonists decide, what we the people of Mumbai need.

hi, what thackerayji said was very much right. talking about jayaji it is better her to quit politics and join film industry again.she doesn't no nothing about politics and she also dont know the problem of the people of her area from where she is nominated to rajya sabha.let her shut her mouth on such topics and look into problems of the people of uttar-pradesh from where she is elected.she can also work on for the people of mumbai who were affected by the flood.
i am wondering from last few days about the news that mumbai should be made city state. i am not going to draw any conlusions. i am from bangalore if someone says bangalore be made city state, my answer will be obvious "no". will chennai be made or gurgaon and noida be merged in delhi. are they going to solve these problems? it is possible that it may increase just like india and pakistan or bangladesh face today. i have made survey about the maharashtra as it aroused interest in me. Maharashtra with pop. 9.6 cr speaking marathi lang. GDP: 15% of india. major cities: Mumbai, pune and nagpur. Mumbai, capital of Maharashtra and Financial capital (Avoid it) of india. because in central government's context it is Delhi(Politial and financial). Mumbai-Delhi 58000Cr Delhi-Mumbai 100cr I have taken broad view by considering maharashtra state, maharashtra gets 5% from centre as per Twelfth finance commission, on other side it contributes 30% to exchequer, might be more. A population of 10% gets 5% even if it contributes 30% As per one article remaining money get lost in black holes (correcr word) of Uttar pradesh and Bihar, why so. maharashtra is united, why try to break it.
we can not tolerate the separation of mumbai from maha. we the Marathi people are the original citizens of mumbai.only because of some Bhayy's, Indian govt.cannot make the initiative.
first task of indian govt is to improve the condition of Bihar and UP.so that there will be transfer of Bhayy's from Mumbai.then and only then the mumbai will be develope.

The cause of this downfall has been because of inability of the political class to come together on a single platform to solve the city's woes. Instead each waits and wants the opposition party to commit blunders so that they can make political capital out of this non-sensical activity.
The govt of each city has to be driven by its own merits. It is time that Shivsena take the lead and give solutions for the city rather than create empty political rhetoric.
