The recent rains in mumbai created havoc in the city. But still the mumbaikers timely help to the needy prooved we can be indipendent and not waite for the athorities to act. i am writing this from New York. felt really bad for all those who suffered the pain of flood. its even more frustrating to know that our infrastructure is so bad we can do nothing in difficult times like things. i am not angry on anyone as the present officials who failed to to help the public are really helpless from thier point of view. before a disaster management crew we need to build a infrastucture where the crew can work on. just enrolling a few people in so called disaster management is nothing but a waste of time and energy. they will be as stuck as the present officals. i have some faith in the present government. if these guys don't do it, i don't anyone else will. please get up from this dormant life..... priya
