Rains in Mumbai
by raj on Aug 02, 2005 06:50 AM  Permalink

This is a climatic change because we can see that the north african region, europe is experiencing severe drought and also the rains which were supposed to hit this part of the year has not arrived. Secondly the monsoon which according to you/us has actually become very slow as to enable the climate to be diverted into the arabian sea than the euroasian region.

Please look at the weather from a different perspective than the traditional June 1 week rains in india. You will get a clear picture. Dont think what was happening for 1000 of years is happening now, you will know that this is a different weather which we are seeing.

Floods

Im in Kuwait.I hear from my parents who were in Jui,Tal.Mahad,Dist.Raigad that around 200 people are dead in Jui only by land slides. The bodies are still under the rubble as no rescue has been done. The entire village has been evacuated. The olny thing that surprises me is that not a single media team has reached there to show this deadly scene to the world.if 1 american dies at war we have all the news flashing the news.what about us indians??we need to increase our image in the world map.
