Wealth and Worship do not go together. Sprituality and Materialism are diagnonally and directionally opposite to each other. As such, any temple should strive to downgrade commercialization of God and promote spiritual atmosphere in all possible ways. Where as Tirumala Temple administration is materially friendly but not spiritual friendly. Assuming that Tirumala Hundi is empty for one year, what would be the attitude of the TTD towards Godhead? Will they have same love for Lord Venkateswara? As for the pilferage, the person guilty of offence would be punished as per law which is altogether a different matter. Where as sanctity of the Godhead has to be maintained at all costs but it is not happening as differential treatment is being provided to visitors of the temple forgetting the fact that all are equal before God.
