We all know that with out money cop will not help us. Know there are doing this idiot work (rape) also for this type cop we have fire on the road.
Police station is the place described as temple in auditoriums where senior officer project themselves as "Devta". I recall having read Arvind Inamdar's & Jayant Umranikar's articles about police force. Many ex-commissioners were advocating pay hike of police personel. They are underpaid they claimed in their much publicised reports, sponsored reports. How hike in pay can be corelated with the morality of men in unifrom. Somebody raping a minor or teenager right in such temples must be lunatic, if not his seniors.
This may be one singular incidence of its kind but integrity of police force is / has degraded to vulnerable level. Bribe has become culture. And senior officilas are mum on this issue. They are busy in writing reports for publications and arranging press conferences.
There are very less YPSingh to revolt or resign. In fact those who continue to receive salary&Pf live resigned, given up, and whatever will happen will happen according to them.
Time to put activities (illegal activities) of men in uniform under scanner. Hope Pasricha is not complacent on this issue now.
on the orther hand the Maharastra govt. is planning to turn Mumbai intio Shanghai and the other hand the city is becoming so unsafe that even the police chowky is becoming a centre of heinous crime reported in this news. the person involved in this case should be subjected to an examplary punichment. the degree of punishment should be very high and in full view of the public so that any person with the thought of such crime should shiver remembering the punishment. it is also required to educate the growing girls how to avoid moving with such guys who can leave their girl friends in lurch and run away as it has happened in this case. the girls must be and trained the self defence machanism to come out safe in these situations.

Suresh I agree with you. If the security guard in Kolkatta was served Capital punishment this case is no different. Infact here his crime is dual (1) under the influence of alcohol whilst on duty and (2) Rape of a 16 year old girl.
Such hideous crimes should not be hushed up no matter who he was.
