I think it's enough, we do need to have a few very strict laws like Arabia. Where they just hang rapist in public and particulalry for Cops, who are supposed to be taking care of society.
Lets start a debate on improving the faith in judiciary and law and order. I think murderers and rapist should be given prompt punishment and very hard punishment.
He should get immediate punishment as no more proof is required to indict him and it should be maximum. According to Chankya, the person who is learned and who should protect is liable for more punishment than the illiterate, poor for same crime.
My heart goes out to those who heared the cry of the girl and tried to rescue her. Seems people of Bombay have learnt a lesson or two after the incident of a minor girl being raped in a local train in full view of public.
