Suspension is something small that can be given to a crime like this. Lawmakers cannot be Lawbreakers. To give a clear signal to the public that all people are the same, he has to hanged till death.
I think the mumbai is going the Bihar way, with collapse of law and order... Nothing will happen....the cop will be susupended and ultimately, after the people have forgotten abt the incident, he will be recalled to his duty and the cycle will follow....
I think such people should not die so easily like by hanging them in public. If you see punishments in ancient China, Greece or Rome that were the real punishments. These people should be given a 3rd degree torture and then they should be thrown in the wild with their limbs and organ cut. Then only they would feel the pain and agony a rape victim faces.

there have been incidences where those entrusted with power to protect the people have misused it...its heineous because the cop was fully aware of what he was doing..still he did it in broad day light..clearly an example of unruly force.
it was an absolute shock hearing the news abt the rape of the teenager.All i have 2 say is tht girls have 2 have their own self defending tactics.in my view girls should learn martial arts and those who can't afford it must carry atleast one sharp instrument viz pen knife and try 2 protect themselves in every possible way.whilst alone they should b accompanied by guys as well as girls.in other words they should b in a grp.
Very shocking indeed that the cops who are actually supsosed to protect us are the ones who are a threat to us. On what basis are such ppl hired????? Such cops should be sent to the Kargil border. (in a way we are safe...)
This constable should have hang immediately in the public so that no one should dare like this.some of the laws of Saudi Arabia should implement in India atleast for few days like Hanging up for for rapist etc
