Please Spare a Thought for the girl
by Concerned on Apr 26, 2005 12:40 PM  Permalink

Keep her away from media attention! Probably go for a government sponsored relocation and therapy sessions somewhere away from the glare where she can try rebuilding her life which was so easily and ruthlessly ruined by an inebriated uncouth cop. These are the times when i feel muslim law's are much better. Let's all pool in for a fund, get the guy exterminated if the govt fails to hang him. a thorn can only be removed by a thorn. A supari would do

This incident has once again proved that Indian Police is the most corrupt among all government agencies. Police officials have absolutely no ethical value.

Madam
Are you really sure Shanghai and New York are better off? Did you check the statistics of Rape and police atrocities before you made your rant??
The biggest danger to the society is people like you who jump at the slightest thing to shout that 'its a crime to be born as a woman'!
As for the cop, yes he must be punished. Let law take its own course..and if you dont trust the law anymore then trust god to make you a man!

Hello sir/maam,
I wonder why the hell you bother about Shanghai or Newyork? What do you think, that the statics that are publicly available are true? I bet only one or two out of ten such incidents are recorded officially. Its not the case abroad, almost seven to eight out of ten incidents are recorded officially there.
Lets look at our situation first and then try to compare with other nations. I wonder if it is a matter of pride for you to declare that only few atrocities happen in India due to the uniformed staff while more happen abroad!!!

I am not shocked.
by Vishal on Apr 25, 2005 11:32 AM  Permalink

Yes, I m not not shocked because of this shocking news. Because this is not the first time this happened. I think everyone in this country is responsible for that girl who has suffered. This is the case which came in front of us with the help of media but i think there might be tons of cases which are hidden. Such news become just the chat topic for people like us and we forget it as usual. But what about that girl, what about her life? We will do something only when anyone among us will be get suffered like this little girl. If you are agree with me email me what should we do to stop this all.
