The shocking news of rape of a 17 yr girl by a cop shows how safe our wifes and daughters are in Mumbai specially when the so called law keepers become unruly and inhuman and bring disgrace to the police department and the citizens alike. If such an heinous act can happen in such a posh area what can u expect from the cops in suburban areas of mumbai. Truly a disgraceful act by a cop. He should be prosecuted and apart from being suspended be punished rigorously so much so that in future no cop would dare to commit such a shameful act.

Well, we all know where india is going...this is just another step towards the grave. Believe you me, this cop will manage to get off with the least possible punishment. These acts happen almost everyday in india - we just aren't informed of them as we are of this.
