India has paid heavy believing Pakistani leaders in past. Now the relations appears to be going right. However, India should go as per the action of Pakistan and not by the words of President Musharraf.
why do you people suspect each and every peace move.dont you want muslim nations world over to live in peace.you must stop this sort of paganic mentality and work for genuine peace.the whole nation wants peace and you seem to oppose it on certain unfound suspicion.
I fully agree with Shri Ramanji. It is too early to shower praises on the General from across the border. He is a shrewd politician and an untrustworthy Pakistani. We should be cautious and tread carefully. Serious fundamental differences have to be resolved before we start celebrating.
It is true that India has shown more flexibility this time but the earlier stand of India over Kashmir and Pakistan has not served it (India) any better. Humanity must be given priority over Politics. Also, it is true that a war will not help solving Kashmir Issue. Hence the best way to solve Kashmir issue is through peace making in the valley. Once there is peace and good governance there, neither militants nor Pakistani army will be able to do anything in Kashmir. The current decisions, if implemented, will certainly help peace making process in Kashmir.
this is very true that musharraf has laid all importance to kashmir that was not allowed in vajpayee regime. i dont find anything impressive in efforts by manmohan singh's attitute towards talk. he must be more focussed on trade and terrorism.
rightly said. its the end results that matter. we have to look at the whole scenario. if musharraf says, i am a different man now, it means he is not a person to be trusted at one go. his approach has to be tested, and proven. its very bad that india continues to suffer at the hands of bangladesh and pakistan, and the state heads - to appase the votebanks do not take bold decisions against erring sides. it does reflect in the long run, and the votebanks themselves suffer too along with the majority. strange are the ways.
I am really at a loss to understand as to why is this man, Musharraf is being given unnecesery importance. He is just the head of yet another underdeveloped, third world nation. Are we scared of him just because he has the N-button at his finger tips? Or is it that only our political leaders who are all past 75, weak and enervated, scared of him? He is a man who say one thing and does the other. Kargil should act as a reminder of the real intentions of this man to all our politicians. Given a chance he will not hesitate to wage yet another war against us. He is a traitor of the first order. May hell be with him.
