Pakistan and Bangladesh both the countries are full of jehadis who very sincerely want to destroy India and Western world. Its not even clash of civilizations as Samuel Huntington argues in his book. In fact its clash between barbarians and the civilized world. Anyone who cares to study history will know that barbarians destroyed all great civilizations. Present leadership of U.S.A. is indeed stupid enough as you rightly say that they together with Indians are suffering from Stockholm syndrome This entire 7-8 percent growth rate we are currently bragging about, can be reversed overnight with a single Paki miss-adventure! The so-called change in attitude of Pakis is mainly because of US pressure and also because of lack of support from another baddie i.e.China
Yes i surely think that we do repeat our mistakes when it comes to friendship or any kind of relationship with Pakistan. We shud not forget that even after being an India territory we cannot get back the POK. We should be wary about these pakistanis and shud not jump on to the bandwagon. I strongly believe that if we had given the reigns of Kashmir to the Indian army then we wudnt have required to cajole the Pak Prseident in the way we do now. Also we shud be careful about the pipeline proposed to be passed throuk Pak and softening our borders.
Musharraf, the person to be believed at is a Big ,NO NO. Why the person like hime who acts as a dictator needs to believed at. Its good that we have given him an invitation for the Cricket match at Delhi , politically it is OK, but should not had been GA GA on his arrival. There are lot many Head of State who comes to our country , why he needs to be given special treatment ? He is nothing to us. And peace talk and reformed Mush , no way. This is just his mask. He has PR skills which lot many people donot have, that's the reason he topples lot many people by his actions and words. We should had given him a very cool treatment and when oportunity comes he should be returned back the Kargil like treatment and caught like Saddam and given a proper lesson.
Hi Your article typifies the typical Indian reporter who likes to put things in a new perspective and does so at all costs. Why cannot we ever show some optimism? I agree that Pakistan has been the spearhead in many of the terrorist attacks.But lets try and see if these talks bear fruit instead of raising doubts in people's minds. Lets be both careful and optimistic and not divulge in unnecessary criticisms!
India's Foriegn Policy is and has always been and being shameless, pointless, useless plain stupid. The press has been very horrible - ditto here. with all thier euphoria. It has been the same I suppose since Prithviraj Chauhan, Nehru ....First with the chinese and then with the pakstanese.They come here get what they want - insult our countries sensibilities on our soil. and we hear all of thier crap.ghazni had raided 13 times ?? unsucessfully and then he was successfull. do you want to try the same thing with pakistan. what a stupid joke that india is a big country and it has to be magnanimous to pakistan. how many times did pakistan use this. what a waste of time to entertain Musharaff.
Foriegn office of India has some problems. I am very unhappy that every lost thier sense with the press going for Musharaff. Shameless - if Musharaf has come to india with peace this time - it is only because of US period. What !! He had a change in heart. India doesn't need to appease any of these paki's or Bangladeshis who do not respect or fear (atleast a bit) India. you just have to look at what is happening. you don't have to bend to these people to get kicked time&again.
