Because of the unequility policy by the state govenment in between Dance Bar and Five star hotel, its looks very strange that they are allowing dances and vulgarity for rich people in five star hotel but if the same a midle class people to do, it is not allowed because of the status but what is my openion it should ban for five star hotel also. In Indian constitute no body are allowed to serve vulgarity in public place weather five star hotel or dance bar. But government should think twice option for the bar girls employment.
To National Human Rights Commission, According to me rights have to be given in exchange for duties and responsibilities. One doesn't become entitled for human rights simply because he is born as a human. He has also to fulfil social obligations which include refraining from doing anything which is harmful to or endanger the very existence of civilized society. If NHRC talks only about rights and not duties and responsibilities it is working like a Trade Union who fights only for rights of workers but does not do (perhaps dare not do) the unpleasnt job of advising them to work sincerely.
The problems of vulgarity and social safety should have been taken care well in advance before permitting such dance bars to start.
Now since thousands of bar girls are labouring hard to earn bread and butter for their families and other thousands of people working there, it is of no use to order its closure.
However proper watch to be kept on these bars but they should not be closed.
Conceptually dance and entertainment is an integral part of culture so let us have a look of NHRC opinion on it but at the same time listen out to those who objects to it because of it vulgarity part of it. One argues for subject matter and other points to the reality part of it. In my opinion both part should be addressed together. While I appreciate plea of NHRC and everyone who are in this industry but am very concern about the real motif of it. Reality is still that it is being used not in good taste. Those involve in this business are not in the social mainstream, specially the bar dancer, like any other cultural ambassador. While being in Mumbai I know these girls are often prefered to out of the society by most of the residents. Those who manage to get her own flat in any society are by and large isolated in the society. This I can say based on my experience as Chairperson of my big society since their being spoils the family value because of wrong eliments starts getting excess in society. I am yet to see an instance that a girl is dancer and nothing else...
Before giving the permission only the govt could have thought of the other side of the bars.the D bars they do not force the youth to spoil their culture when the D Bars not allowing the minors then one should think that above 18years old persons are having the meturity to think what is good and what is bad.Why youth do not go to the holy places or the classical music concert? india is a democratic country every body has thier fundamental rights Bar dancers are hard workers they do not steal or kill any body to fill their belly even though they are having problems they do not show to the clints putting the false face they dance as if they are enjoying the dance.
If Dance bars were closed what is the alternative for the workers?? Because almost all the bar dancers spent their half of the life in the profession all of sudden when its is closed. What they have to do many of them do not know any other work. let us assum they know some or the other work WILL SOCIETY IS READY TO ACCEPT THEM see if they start searching the job and they went to interview the 1st Question is where did you worked befor????
ITS IS BIG QUESTION infront of the society as well as in front of the 1
Justice took almost 10 years to be done. Life sentence should have been issued within 1 year of the crime. Justice delayed is justice denied. This proves that there is no proper judicial system in India.
For last few years, in name of culture, some most hypocratic thugs are unleashing a reign of terror. If we analyse private lives of these persons, some most astonishing facts come out.
Its a bogey used by unscrupulous people for their self-interest. Our culture has survived onslaught for centuries but still have a vibrant culture. I don't think any culture can be affected by such trivial things like dance bars. This kind of entertainment has been part of our lives for ages. Yes, vulgarity can not be promoted thru this.
