''Thank you very much Mr. Writer''-Modi
by krishna on Apr 13, 2005 02:15 AM  Permalink

Now Modi will say thank you for giving me another bashing. What is the necessity to write this article at this point of time. Have you written anything damning that Modi will be hanged to death tomorrow? You have simply added a small critical and one-sided article to larger yet narrow minded society. Why I say that? By society, I mean world. Granted, that Modi has shown insensitivity to minorities who suffered in riots. But, what about blatant insensitivity shown by USA and EU towards hundreds of thousands of people (Indians, I won't say Hindus and view a human tragedy in religious keleidoscope) in Kashmir. Let us show some sensitivity towards humanity first not minority and majority. I clearly remember the day when Sabarmati Express was attacked and burnt. Instead of mourning the death of passengers (I will not call them RSS workers because they are also human beings), every pseudo-secular party took atleast a week to come out, that too when riots broke out very next day!!! Simple incident like a mob killing a women says it all. Police and administration there could not take any action against mob for this act, you expect Modi to control large section of rioters in Gujarat?

Where did the 2000 figure come from and why are you parroting the figures stated by any tom, dick and harry with an agenda.. Next it will be 20,000 and so on.

Your journalistic accuracy is sadly lacking.

''Modi''fied stance

This is just another example of how the likes of Modi are willing to stoop low so that they hold on to power. One should not be amused by them. If one tells them to eat crap to them ,they will do even it to hold on to power.

What's in asking to reopen all cases of riots
by Chander K on Apr 12, 2005 11:40 PM  Permalink

Why we should show partiality. What's wrong in opening all cases regarding riots. Why should Modi be singled out when Muslim League and other outfits are also part of this. Why should we let a party which partitioned the country still spread throughout the contry. Do you have an answer for this?
