The statement that China "supports" India's aspirations for greater role in international affairs shows brazen arrogance on the part of the Chinese Premier. India can support itself, it does not need a crutch in China.
Sir, Very rightly you have highlighted the retracting posture of China on the issue of India's entry to the UNSC. Though very rightly all the dailies have highlighted today about China's unambiguous support for India for UNSC, I personally do not see any reason to be euohoric about it,as its long overdue for India to be represented there.Now in fact the debate/bargain should focus on the issue of our veto power with the permanent membership.If we get a membership without veto,it would wammount to our diplomatic defeat.Thanks.pradeep.
