If USA thinks it can have permanent base in pakistan then it is delusion. No matter what general people are dead against Americans and they will wait for every moment to throw them away. Of course it is possible only if Americans wipe out all pakistanis and seal the Afghan border. It is selling arms to make money out of lost freind pakistan but with check. China will intervene inbetween India and Pakistan war as the US presense in the Area increases. It will not like to lose pakistan and if does then only support it will need is from India. For Indian nows it is best to have freindly relation with USA, China, Russia, Iran, etc. It should not make any one feel uncomfortable for its own health.

Please refrain from silly statements like "why are we so doubtful of our Indian AirForce?" The idea in national security is not to let the enemy get to your door and then use your airforce/whatever to stop him. The idea is stop the enemy at as great a distance as possible. Why does Rediff always use mental midgets as columnists?
India, grow up. We do not need to sneeze every time it snows in the Karakorams. India is now indispensible part of global economy both as buyer and seller. US is just a poor country with very few trump cards left since they outpriced themselves out of the market place. Even importing Indian labour (of any collar colour) did not help.
Pakistan will prove to be the biggest mistake US ever made. I dont think the people from US will feel secure till the time the terror breeding states are strictly put to justice. Instead of focussing on the innocent IRAN, the US should try to focus on Pakistan.
