HOSTAGES in IRAQ
by SrinivasanS on Jul 30, 2004 05:58 AM  Permalink

I do pity very much the plight of the hostages with death hanging over in a very cruel manner. The fault lies in them having chosen to work in that country because of the offer of huge salaries unthinkable by them in India. Even this day, as I see in the Media, scores of persons are recruited by known agencies to work as Drivers, cooks, Guards etc . Those who opt for these services know fully well where they will end up and what is their fate. It is illogical and improper to drag the name of the Government for not rescuing them from the tragedy. The suffering families are responsible for this sorry state of affairs.

hostage crisis
by subramanianp on Jul 30, 2004 04:43 AM  Permalink

the abductors hav some mercy which is evident from the elongation of negotiation. Surtely they hav some heart not to kill innocents. India must suitably respond to their demand to get release of hostages as they r our brotheren. They too hav a life and should live their full quota. No point delaying the matter. It shouldnot go down the history of terrorism and its onslaught. Oh god, save india and all indians.
