If it would have been for affluents persons son or daughter then govt would by now would have brough back.But I know its of no use.They will not do anything.They will say its better to sacrifice two of them rather than taking nay step
I think Antaryami father's plight is understandable given the cirumstances. Probably he put in his life savings to send his son to a foreign land so that he can make a living for himself. When it turned out ugly anybody in this position given the helplessness of the father its understandable.
But deep within me i believe, he is such a coward. When something happens to an Indian in a foreign land, its a national concern. Its the pride and prestige of the nation. Instead of asking the government to do something, do anything to save his son, he should have asked the government to act accordingly with pride. How many times have the terroists won by abduction. Everytime i see they win. We, The nation of 1 billion people, INDIA give in to anybodies demands, take for instance the flight which was diverted to afghanistan, veerapan, and countless others and now this one. Probably its hight time, India get into IRAQ and get it right. How many times can we give in. Thats how we are overlooked in the world. If other nations have to give respect then we better act like one, and not given in to some trash. Well in that case anybody can abduct and ask for ransom and get away with it.

Ever since the abduction of hostages in Iraq, there has been constant activity by the government officials in unison with friendly arab countries. It is another thing that everything cannot be divulged to the general public - hence the suspense !
Government (let me assure you all on behalf of the government) is doing every bit - day in and day out. However, the case is so delicate that any slight error on the part of the officials or the country (in this case India) could harm the efforts being put in by government. As I said above, the case being so delicate, we need to have patience and trust in God and the countrymen. Your pain is as much the pain of every citizen & government - be assured ! Things will be alright and SOON. Amen
At this point the media, esp the Indian ones, should restrain from publicizing articles like this. This will only give more motivation for the abductors to kill that man, for they get a couple of lives from one.
it is a common practice that when it comes to the poor only lip service is offered by our politicians the govt must do its best in release of the hostage what truma the their family faces, no one can feel their pain, as the father of one of the victims said that he would rather die than see his sons dead body it is true that if a great politician was taken hostage,something more concrete would have been done by the goverment.
