Saffrons used to accuse cong. for whatever evil happen in India. Even if it happens in BJP ruled states they only accuse cong.
Hope it is not a 3 month statistics. Frankly I see some of the bizzare statistics and rankings in Rediff. I do not know where they get all these numbers and who are these agencies providing them.
Crime, murder and corruption etc., have multiplied in India to capture the first place amidst nations of the world! This reflects the utter laxity of the functioning of the judicial system basically and also the criminal investigation systems! Perhaps, Indian judicial system will be the first in its deficiency, amidst the world nations! After the take over of the U.P.A. India has steadily deteriorated in all spheres, as all multi degrees of both Indian and foreign universities have terribly and tragically failed showing how education is completely tampered with and damaged! Only God has to descend down to save this nation from its free corruption which is the root cause for such a catastrophe!

India has a population that is six times that of Russia while the number of people murdered is roughtly the same. You have to look at murder per 100,000 people and we are among the safest. Our villages a re tranquil and almost all homicides are in a few cities like Mumbai and Delhi and their suburbs. Even the South is really calm except for part of Andhra. A state like Bihar has problem. There are insurgencies in states like Assam and North East.

what safest ? you will die in a road accident ONE LAKH PEOPLE DIE IN ROAD ACCIDENTS IN INDIA MORE THAN USA, EUROPE, RUSSIA, AND CHINA COMBINED !!!
4000 PEOPLE DIE IN MUMBAI TRAINS EVERY YEAR.
INDIANS ALSO DIE VERY EASILY AND EARLIER FROM HEART ATTACKS AS COMPARED TO WHITES AND CHINESE.
Murders in political conflicts are not counted. In addition, a number of deaths by murder are never registered. The number from USA are more reliable than any nation.
We are a country who take pride in drinking coke and fighting for coke and pepsi investment in India and not for basic water which is much essential and required. We have always got our priorities wrong and today we have reached the 1st position in such a shameful act. What makes more shameful is the pervert attitude of the people while killing even children in a horrible way. A country with thousands of God/ Godessess and millions of temple. SHAME SHAME SHAME
