Ashutosh Gowrikar should be held accountable for spreading lies as history in his movie Jodha Akbar..although K Asif used it to make money in Mughal e Azam, Jodha Akbar convinced the Indian masses about the secular greatness of Mughals - which again is a huge myth. Gowrikar should answer for holding up to his lies as fact. The movie Jodha Akbar makes a number of tacit political statements - it shows Akbar a bleeding heart Indian nationalist concerned about Rana Pratap's credibility !!!!!! a complete turning of tables - a Secular Muslim, and a bigoted Hindu????

Agreed.
The NDA policy of fixing text books was probably a right thing. And no wonder why Commies were hellbent to prevent them from doing it.Once UPA form the government, the first task of Commies was to restore the distorted textbooks originally propagated since Nehru's time.Nehru & JNU are the breeding grounds for the distortion of Indian history. It is a shame to see how far they have gone. And it is even worse & dispeakable that celebrities like Gowrikar etc. have even promoted it.
"It is a happy myth about a Muslim ruler who had a Hindu wife, who does not make her convert to Islam and joins her in her religious pursuits and you can see why -- it is a happy myth and even a useful myth,"
Rushdie is so correct on that one...a lot of myths were created in India to serve 'Useful' purpposes...all this Dalai Lama praying in mosque with a skull cap on will never be allowed in any form of Islam, but the image is useful...Amitabh & family, and almost all Bollywood actors paying visits to Peer mazars and graves, because the Peers were supposedly great saints and not Islamic radicals who spread Islam by any means....myths myths and more myths...myths.

Stockholm syndrome at a societal level! That is a good one. I was secular growing up in India- but after seeing the barbaric way Muslims behave all over the world, and after hearing them dish out BS but never give an inch in reciprocal appreciation (e.g., Build big mosques all over the world in secular democratic countries but not allow Hindu workers in Saudi Arabia to worship openly), I have become 100% anti-Mulsim. Now I think the only good Muslims is a dead one (or one who has left Islam, such as Salman Rushdi).
The Jodha myth was created by K Asif for Mughal e Azam and it made good money, as well as confirmed Muslim rights to what was left of India after partition. It is another matter Hindus had to be kicked out from the Land of the Pure, Pakistan. Akbar's empire, won by the brilliant Raja Maan Singh was a Hindu/Mughal coalition which is unprecedented in Muslim history. The Mughal Empire died with Aurangzeb and by the time of the coming of the British, India was firmly entrenched in Hindu power except for Muslim pockets in Bengal, Awadh & Deccan.
When the last mughal emperor bahadur shah zaffar was defeated by British and deported to Burma, his son escaped to Kashmir and started living amongst the kashmiri pandits. He is none other than Motilal Nehru. Hence its quite natural that we see the hindu bashing traits in the Nehru family.

It was Motilal's father who called himself Gangadhar Lal. That explains why Nehru had a contempt for Hindus and was very friendly with Muslims specially Nasser and Suharto. He was also friend of Ayatullah Komini. He wanted to encourage learning of Persian and destroy sanskrit.

Some people r capable of INCREDIBLE FALSEHOOD, like Rash Group.Pls check wikipedia for dates of births & deaths of Bahadur Shah & Motilal Nehru. Wait lemme tell you :1775 – 1862 & 1861 – 1931 respectively. So that means BS was 86 years old.Incredible, huh.See the lengths a person will go to slander a fellow Indian, a dead one at that. How come nobody ever studied this in History classes but this truth was revealed to Rash Group. Incredible RASH FOOL !

No. The story I heard was It was Milal.s father who was a Moghal policeman who was escaping the Britishers because all the Moghals were held responsible for Sepoy mutiny. When Motila's father was caught he pretended to be a Kashmiri Pandit of name gangadar Lal.
