A lot of congrats to the doctors and the parents as well who has given value to a girl child with disabilities when a normal girl is not respected and loved in many a homes.May God bless the family to be happy,healthy and prosperous.May God help many doctors to give a thought to help out such patients when they come to them for help.

so, amma or ma or mom is quiet old name for a relationship. So shall we change that to some modern name as well?
How I wish all the children got the basic health & affection to lead meaningful lives! All involved in getting Lakshmi back to near normalcy have done a noble deed. Goodness always resides with evil. We are all victims of circumstances & are capable of doing great & noble deeds. The satisfaction one gets out of such acts go beyond any material possession.
These news touch the heart but most others wreck them. Let goodness live forever!
It was not only a miracle, but a KARISHMA for downtrodden people like Laxmi's parents that finally her daughter will be able to walk.
I wish God Continues to Shower His Choicest Blessings! So that one day, she could do something back to our country. No doubt, she is a daughter of 21st century. I am overwhelemed to read this news.

Friend, You know why i am writting because you said it is outdated name. I can not accept at all. Here in Abu Dhabi, UAE, i am working as HSE Manager with one French Company. I have same Laxmi name for my daughter who is two year old. Last five years i am working here. If you would like to know why i have given this name to my daughter because i came from small,tiny village of Maharashtra. To always rememberence of my village in my heart and mind, i have provided this name to my daughter because it is normally a village name and i am proud of that. I love my village and the people and don't want to forget them at all whether i am working in any part of world. So please i request you that don't think like this , i would like to keep my culture alive. Sorry for this if you hurt.

That is good that you want to remember your village and its people. But you should give back to your village and its people as it is affordable to you now. You can help the poor people in your village or anything for the development of your village. That will be a great thing and a model for everybody which will help india grow faster. I am sure your village will be an undeveloped area and have many chance to develop it
