After Ajmer, now comes Bangalore - both states ruled by BJP. Before that Akshardhaam - Gujarat, another state ruled by BJP. Even Modi could not stop terror. When the BJP led NDA ruled, the terrorist even had the audacity to attack parliament!

Though links have been drawn between Bangalore and Ahmedabad blasts, the difference is also appreciated. In Bangalore, it looks as if it was a retailation. BJP goons celebrating their party in power, threw pork into a mosque, leading to communal tension. The government looked the other way naturally as their own goons were involved. So the Muslims took the terror route to warn the govt not to mess with them. Their intention was to warn not to destruct.
Gujarat was apparently different. This was a reaction to Godhra and Modi. No CM of any state except madman Modi challenges Terrorists to strike his state. Now they did and also made a point to maximally destroy Modis own constituency. So toll in Bangalore and Ahmedabad tell their own story. Bangalore 1, Ahmedabad 50
Modi remains the only CM in India's entire History to challenge terrorists to attack a state (Gujarat). This madman, Gujus try to sell to the rest of the country as PM material. Gujus have only themselves to blame for electing this madman
If Modi is voted by mistake as PM, this Madman will challenge Pakistan to Nuke India? And where will this leave all of us?

A Madman like Modi mesmerized Gujus and bragged to rest of the nation that Gujarat is simply inoperable for terrorists and their model of development - Police State was being sold to the rest of the country for adoption as an ideal model.
That para in one of the messages posted in rediff is telling how Modi and his mesmerized Guju population have rudely fallen to the ground:
"they planted bombs in open areas in full view, again planted when bomb squad removed them...and today in the news they were showing how Modi's cavalcade crossed over a bomb!"
It looks to me very much a description of a state in internal conflict - a failed state.
The impact of the blast is that Modi's self-image has taken such a beating that it is readily evident in his body language. No more we see a bragging Modi claiming his Admn is in a league of its own. Now he says Gujarat is part of a process of terror plan that affected Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. From haunting minorities and inching for a scrap, an apparently chastened Modi now call for a united fight, with the Central Government in the lead.
No more can Modi wear the Cape and pretend he is Superman. He is just been exposed to an ordinary mortal comparable the the likes of Vasundhra Scindhia; Yediruppa, Rajshekhar Reddy etc. So the blast served as a great leveller in one particular way

It was not Modi's mesmirism which made Mumbai blasts, it was not his myth which made Hyderabad blast and in UP. What a bluff you are writing Mr. all Right ( Or is it all bluff) Atleast he has got the guts like all simple Gujjus. He is not like our Home Minister who is proven again and again that he is not fit for any job.

it is a very sad state of affairs that govt of india issues no directives to the citizens on how to act against terror. in britain and usa, the citizens and first responders are taught accurately, and hence any fishy activites get reported to a toll free number immdly.

Mr. All Right hiding behind a mask is factually correct. Terrorists should not be challenged to strike terror. Because noone can fight a faceless enemy. The strong-armed states like Isarel, the USA, Britain etc., all have been hit by terror, the US being hit the hardest. US reaction was to wipe out, pulverise and decimate Afghan Talibans and Saddam Hussain with his henchmen. USA never goes overboard on seculaism. But India does. The US administration is hell bent upon killing Laden, whoever hapens to be the President. But India is not. India is undecided about Afzal Guru. This is the difference. USA enforces law very strictly. Even Edward Kennedy was subjected to security frisking before he was to board a domestic flight. Look at the law enforcement agency in the USA so committed to carrying out the law of the land. But in India they are so lax. Modi is a tought man. He visited all the Bomb sites. He fights up front. Unfortunately the nautanki politicians dancing to the tune of f* secularism are a spoilsports. These ploiticians need cash, possibly perhaps from the terrorist. Yes Mr. All Right. Why Pota??
When Pota was operational during NDA's time, some of the most audacious terrorist attacks took place - Parliament, Akshardhaam, Reghuram Mandir etc So attacks will take place, with or without such laws.
The problem is more deeper. An advisory warning will not help state governments. In Karnataka the Police came across evidence of a blast in Channapatna - 50 kms from Bangalore, a day earlier and recovered a car full of explosives. The State government did nothing. This despite a central government advisory to be on high alert - 3 days before the blast.
The Centre gave an advisory warning to Gujarat 3 days before the blast. Despite Bangalore blast, the State government did nothing. The Gujarat government instead commenting on the Bangalore blast boasted on TV that such terror strikes would not hit Gujarat.
Instead of mainstreaming disgruntled sections of society - Naxalites, Muslims etc, the BJP and Hindutva follwers isolate them further. As long as this happens, POTA or even a stronger law will not help.
The Gujarat government complain that Central warning was not actionable. OK. Now that the blast has taken place, can they crack the case and bring the terrorist to book. At least if they do that, there is some hope.
