Has anybody in this forum heard original speeches of Raj Thackeray? Some facts: -In none of his speeches he said he is against north indians coming to Mumbai -In none of his speeches he said he is against celebration of chat pooja
What he said: -People coming to Mumbai should keep law and order. He targeted only people from Bihar and UP and not the whole north indians. I am not interested in commenting about respect of law that biahri and UP people have especially unemployed and goonda migrant in mumbai -He is against using Chat Pooja as a show of political strength in Maharashtra by UP-Bihari leaders. e.g. Mayavati held a rally in mumbai and said "UP to jhanki hai,Maharshtra abhi baki hai". Numerours goonds politicans from UP-Bihar are using chat pooja as a show of strength in mumbai. -Accept the local culture and try to learn the local language.
Mistakes he made: -He was very harsh in what he said. -He did not keep media happy. In fact he can not as the whole english and hindi media only published distorted and carefully picked and chosen version of his speeches.
Why so much backlash against him: -Media has maligned him. Most of the people have no way to access the right information -UP and Bihari people fear that he could get more hold which could prevent their family , friends,relatives,acquaintances from settling in mumbai.
How to stop him:Start behaving when in Mumbai, Respect law and order,Don't make mumbai red by spitting pans,Stop shitting in railway tracks.

Well said , actually, they are busy , hiking salries of govt. employees , waiving off farmer's loan (for those who acutally do not need waiver) and creating reservations in edu institutes and jobs. This is wat they have been doing for last 50 years. Look at the irony in the country , people are dying to get themselves recognised as SC/ST. You may never know in future we might have quota for general category too.

Inundated by overflowing drainage water,most of the low lying areas sunk breed several epidemics to add to their woes.Mumbai's drainage system has outlived and requires relaying in tune with the growing need sequel to its population & upcoming of the new residential complexes.Amidst in even the worst fury of rain,a stoic Mumbite will brave the rain & tries to attend to his daily chorus unmindful of the distance & hardships he may encounter in commuting.Though painful leaving anxious moments,it is very thrilling for the office goers to somehow commute in the suburban trains running at walking speed & reach their homes late night or early hours of the next day.It is also not uncommon for those who can afford leaves,to stay back at home & enjoy the forced holiday.Mumbai rains too are typical just as any of its other aspects causing pleasure & pain to its residents. Mumbites are masters in taking life in its stride whether it be on a rainy day or after massive bomb blasts.Kudos to them!!!
bmc has done really done a great job dis time,couz yes if it rains heavily in mumbai n these rains on coinciding the flooding situation is inevitable.even in many cities of world(frm developed country)flooding situation arise after heavy rain.n full mark tu bmc cause these time the intensity of water logging was so low,that as soon as the rain stopped the water drained off.n to those who just know to blame thackeray,friends they r the boss of mumbai.they have ruled the mumbai,n will do so in future,u all keep barking.all these people frm bihar n up i wanna ask u,if it rain heavily in bihar n up(in region bounded by river)is there no water logging???.....no need to tell v all see that people cum n sit on their houses roof to protect themself frm flood....................so i thnk instead of just blaming thackeray u fst blame all gunda netas frm bihar n up...........caitiff fellows.

well whoever ur if u do not understand reference to context pls. do not yep. yes there is a lot of encroachment due to people coming in Mumbai. Do u think they come and stay in flats. Most of the nallas and creeks are covered up and water shall take its course by flooding on roads when it does not get an outlet. Instead of only criticising the Thakreys why dont u ask the resp. states as to what they are doing with the money that our State is sending to them to help and grow there State so that people dont migrate to Mumbai or any other state for bread and butter......Ruupa

Thackrays are preparing bamboo sticks to drive away 40 Lakh UPwallas,Biharis & Bangladeshis who have created innumerable slums without toilets(they use railway tracks)creating enormous strain on civic amenities. They take free medical treament in Mumbai hospitals run by BMC & state govt. and all taxes are paid by Maharastrians.Our consttution allows citizens to settle in any state. This does not mean you create anarchy in your own states(UP&Bihar)resulting into exodus of 45 lakhs unwanted citizens to ruin other states. in fact Mumbai is flooded with UP,Bihar Bangladesh coarse aggregate. Maharashtra has tolerated enough. If these guys do not want to go back, Maharashtra should export 45 lakhs Marathis to uncivilized lands of UP & Bihar so that they bescome more civilized.

Marathis shit in toilets not on railway tracks. I have done projects in UP where Bhaiyas use ralway tracks. It seems it is their birthright to use the railway tracks. Given the choice Mulayam & Laloo will also justfy the use of railway tracks as toilets.

I have been to BOMBAY too and other places in maharashtra and you marathis are the dirtiest lot.. maharashtra ranks among top states in HIV and AIDS prevalence.. remove karnatka and maha and 50% of AIDS cases will be gone.. so lets not fight over states as to which one is better.. lets work towards a common cause of making INDIA a developed nation YOU FOOLS stop doing this

no sir you are totally mistaken, rates of AIDS prevalence in bihar and UP are virtually zero which is really commendable and this is disgusting that you would blame everything on UPites and biharis.. bombay is a virtual whorehouse and orher areas in maharashtra and it is due to the infrastructure and safe havens that are provided by these states inc tamilnadu and maharashtra.. first clean ur house before blaming others and read some stats

Laloo recruits only Biharis in railways.Security Agencies recruit only Bhaiyas in Mumbai. Where is the competition. These rascals have created innumerable slums using ralway tracks as toilets.Go back to your state. We Marathis were managing the state much better when UP Bhaiyas and Biharis were not in Mumbai. It was a very clean city when Marathis, Gujratis and Parsis were the major inhabitants. These Bhaiyas and Biharis have brought shame to this city which is now only slumland now.

Go and check the results of higher comepetitive level results. You will find any rare marathi name in topper lists. This proves the wisdom. And even marathis are not competitive in jobs like watchmen. For your kind information railway has same recruitement pattern all over the india.Why do marathi not appearing in that?If they are failed then they should study hard.
