You'll need hordes of luck. All the best!!!!
by Mak C on Jun 04, 2008 04:10 PM  Permalink

Great words, but plenty of luck required to carry it off. Hope no one pulls a 'J.F.Kennedy' on you for meddling with the 'whites only' covert structure. This generation has grown up playing 'Cowboys and Indians' until recently(its cowboys and muslims now). Mindsets don't change that easy and you'll need to be ever so gradual to be effective. Great thoughts all the same, but are we looking at the Republicans retaining power over here?

India the weak state
by Suresh S on Jun 04, 2008 09:13 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We know where extremists thrive: In conflict zones that are incubators of resentment and anarchy; and in weak States that cannot control their borders or territory, or meet the basic needs of their people. From Africa to Ccentral Asia to the Pacific Rim -- nearly 60 countries stand on the brink of conflict or collapse.

Its a perfect description of India. I think he indirectly mentioned current state of India. 60 years of rule by Gandhi clan couldnt protect our borders, earned the name as a weak state, couldnt meet the basic needs of people. One exception from Africa is that we have very potent mass human resource to feed self and Government. Government means the Royal Gandhi/Khan Dynasty of India.

India needs a good dynamic secular democratic leader to be in par with Obama to take this world forward!! And a good leader needs a good cabinet and ministers who are not divisive or corrupt!! And a good Govt. needs good citizens. And good citizens need a Good God. A good God can be found by anyone who reads the Holy Bible!! God bless you India!!

If you really think US should prosper and have global peace vote for Ron Paul. He may not support India but he is good for world peace. In a way he will stop support to pakistan which will help India in dealing with ISI with no funds. There will be less terrorism as muslims will try to workout their problems with no funding from US.

HINDUS IN PAKISTAN. REPORT IN TODAYS PAKI DAWN NEWS
by Lotan Potan on Feb 26, 2008 11:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The British Council and the British Alumni Association of Pakistan held a seminar on Feb 23 on %u201Cchildren%u2019s right; are we doing enough?%u201D

The keynote speaker and the 6 panelists expressed their views which were followed by a question and answer session for over one hour. Members of the audience asked many questions but most disturbing and heart rending was asked by an old Sindhi Hindu lawyer.

He said that that underage Hindu girls, as young as 12, were being kidnapped, forced to marry and convert to Islam. Parents%u2019 attempt to file an FIR against the culprits is not registered by the police, they take no action against the criminal, the girl is never recovered, the parents suffer life-long pain, and NGOs take no action while the media ignores it. The complaint was confirmed by the fact that the news report in the following day%u2019s newspapers on the seminar did not even mention this point.

He wanted to know why was it so? Is not kidnapping, irrespective of the faith and ethnic background of the victim, a crime under the laws of Pakistan? Are such heinous acts not un-Islamic, and immoral? Why does the state behave like a helpless bystander and why do human right organizations in Pakistan maintain a deafening silence? Do they not know what pain and humiliation it causes to the parents, particularly to the mother whose little girl is taken away forcefully and never allowed to meet her again?

In fact that is the fate for all Hindus in India in near future, Hindus can never Unite ,they are always keeping their own interest first, nation and society comes last , Hindus would have same fate in India within few years when jaichands, jaidraths and mulayams/Lalus will shifts their children to US /Europe and leave the country in similar situation, then this country would become secular , lead and inhabited mostly by some other relegion which is much more united and does not allow Jaichands/Mulayams to breed

They have learnt this from the Hindu politics played in Kondhmal issue or our friend Prabin Thogadia. One day, the Sangh Pariwar may start doing the same to all minorities!

All religions lead to heinous activities. God created the world and man has created 'religons'to ignore the true almighty ONE God. No religion can be united nor do anything good without shunning it's beliefs and putting their trust in the true Loving God, who created one and all and cares for one and all!No religion can provide security but only insecurity. Only God is our security!!

Obama or Bush, Hilari or Mccain all would be 'good' presidents as far as US is concerned. "My country, right or wrong" is the catch word of any President of America. The interest of US comes first and formost for any American President. Their concern for rest of the world comes only as secondary. Unlike indian politicians, they love, and they are proud of, their country.

It is an obligation of the NRI community to help Hillary. Bill was a great friend of India. Bush is a great freind whi has delivered. We need to make sure that the tradition of warm US-India tie continues to flourish.

We have lived on hope and dreams for the past 8 years. do we want more of this? I don't see change coming from Obama in the future. I cannot understand where he will take us. Hope don't get the job done...does he hope he knows what he is doing, and does america have any idea of what awaits us. It does scare me. I want a future for my children and grandchildren. and i will take my chances with Hillary.Obama doesn't have a good foreign policy plan, and where does he or his wife prove they are very patriotism americans. i wonder and i worry. HE SPEAKS WITH A SILVER TONGUE. a lot of americans are looking and not listening.hope we all wake up from this nightmare pretty soon...

Whether it is Obama or Hillary Rodham the golden days are over as far as India is concerned. Even in the recent Texas debate Obama was harping on outsourcing and how americans were sore their jobs were dished out abroad. Hillary, because of the Clinton's close ties with India might slow it down but the days of outsourcing are over if democrates take overwhich is most likely. BTW in spite of being trashed by almost all Indians @ home and abroad George W Bush looks to have been the only true friend of India. He has done so much for India which will be hard to match by future presidents.
