We are very much thankful to Sir Sachin Tendulkar we saw some glorious batting shots, sound batting skills, great attitude, team player with lots of demeanor, dignity, deem, high decorum, decency he played daunting inning where deteriorate opponents above all he divulges batting style.
Sachin is indeed one of the greatest sportsman the country has produced. It requires a good amount of patience and committment to stay this long in any game. But his greatness would have increased had retired a couple of years back when he was started loosing his spark. He should have passed on the mantle to younger players. All the veterans i.e Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Laxman and Kumble should retire in the larger interest of the nation. Yuvraj, Raina, Rohit, Goni and many talented youngsters are loosing good amount of their cricketing days due to the older guys.

My dear boy, Cricket is also a proffession. You mean to say a person who has chosen cricket as a profession should retire soon as he is just out of form(I'm not sure) for a couple of Games.
And about Age and retiremen- then Dhoni, Yuvraj will retire in 3-4 years as they will also become older.

if there was any medal for losing matches. from wc 2003 finals to wc 2007 to recent series. he always let india down. for so called greatness, we should give him fools gold ( iron pyrites)
Mr Sardesai has lost his credentials as a journalist. He has become slave of a psychophant group. "0"dulkar is competing with Rhinio for the thickest skinned animal. Long Live India thickest skinned species discovered in Mumbai, India

If you dont like to admire the great person, please get the hell out of here!!!!
Sachin is a good batsman but he played many matches to make individual records instead of leading the country to win. We all are well aware of his inconsistent run scoring speed - scores at a normal speed when his score is below 40 and post-40 he plays a test match (even though its an ODI).
The BCCI is selecting him regularly for almost all the tours even though he is not totally fit. He has been constantly reeling with elbow injury.
He has not performed well in the recent past (including the Sri Lanka series, which has been a slap on the face of Indian cricketers, who doesn;t have the ability to play newcomers such as Mendis).
In the recent times, Sachin has been a big failure.
So stop praising Sachin and look for other players, who has enough potential to perform.

he is in the team because of the sponsors. BCCI is using his endorsements to mint money. Once his sponsors turn their backs on him, BCCI would be compelled to throw him out of the team. Till then, we have to tolerate this favorite liability...
