Amazing work done by an Indian Scientist!! We are no way behind the scientists in Western Countries, only these things are not highlighted in India by the media, who prefer masala material instead.

I agree with you. In today's TOI the top half of the Main page had ISRO's Satellite news and the Harbhajan,IHF Gill news in the same level as if they both are equally important. It is pitiful situation that the media has lost the dignity of carrying valueble and useful news.
So 70 thousand years, man came & settled in this beautiful place & started inventing lots of things like vedas, upanishads... A final nail in the coffin of Aryan Invasion Theory. Keep it up Rediff & Professor.........Thanks a Lot. I'm Happyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Its a known fact, the aryans never invaded beyond central india.... the two races which came to india were aryans and mongoloids. There dravidians were already present who were invaded by these races, the research says man has traveled from africa and might be the forefathers of the dravidians.

BS - the research does not say anything of the sort. it just points out that people probably travelled in the line from africa to australia via the present pakistan, India and malaysia.
It deos not talk about fictitious things like aryan and dravidian. When will you guys realise that the term aarya simply means noble? There was no aryan invasion at all.

When I was chatting to an Iranian, I asked whether the name of Iram in oldedn days was Persia. He sait,"yes it was. But before that our country name was Arian~, in English it means 'Aryan land'".

agreed - and well put - the headline and contents are not exactly the same. the article 'points' to how man 'might' have travelled to Australia from Africa. It does not talk about travel to India at all.
