Climax may be like this (just a guess, 'coz it happened in that old movie)... 'Ranbir returns and asks Salman to give Sonam back to Ranbir. Salman refuses, giving an impressio that his character in the movie is negative. But after the marriage he lets Sonam to go back to Ranbir saying that she is his wife now and can give her to Ranbir.
