the only two person in current film industry who can handle subject like this. one is Mr.Amir khan, and second is Mr.Ashutosh gowarikar. It is a Fabulous movie in all aspect of film making.

What has Amir Khan got to do with this movie?? If the movie is a success it's because of Hrithik, Ashutosh and Aishwarya, and of course all the other people involved with the film. Amir Khan does not figure anywhere in the equation dude.
I watched 2wice time movie is superb....excellent...great movie...hrithik is fanstastic acting & Ash the movie give the snadesha to love all religion & respect to every one...fanstastic Mr.Ashutosh ji...dear all who will not see movie kindly go to the theatre & must watch movie
There were quite some good exectations out of this movie. The songs were too good. However the picturisation of those songs left a lot to be desired. It was lost in the movie. Except for "Kwaja mere", none had the kind of impact that one feels when one hears only the audio. Jodha and Akbar - the characterisation left a lot to be desired. Offcourse the elephant was the real hero of the movie. How many of us claim to hold back ourselves when we want to give vent to our feelings and stampede on the nuisance character.......!!! Hritik could have easily got caught if the elephant so wished..... Now that's acting for you. Overall the movie is worth only one ticket. The second would be a bit of overkill.

As you told the movie is absolute non sense and waste of time. Though he talked about the historical significance there aren't any. Lot of people write positive reviews either because they may be paid to do so or for any goddamm reason. Story is only this. One guy marries One girl. As usual, guy suspects the girl due to a stupid plot(typical bollywood masala plot, mother in law plotting against the daughter in law). She leaves her husbands home and goes to her house. only diff, is mother in law is replaced with his foster mother. Finally, husband realises the mistake and tries to get his wife.As a usual, Bharatiya Nari, She doesnt want to go back coz trust is broken. Now the husband tries to get her and finally gets her. all cooked up smelly shit plot. You wish to see some historical significance. He could hav done the same crap dragging in a historical charcter like Akbar. Any Ramu, Shamu or Rahul or Raj would have done this

A Must watch movie. A masterpiece movie like typically Gowarikar movie like lagaan and swades. Already had watched twice. Blockbuster of 2008. Hats of Ashutosh Gowarikar. I don't have words. Only I can say he has a personality that makes him different and stand tall and obviously an extra ordinary person. Keep it up Mr. Gowarikar.

The movie is sooo superficial .. has no depth in the love between jodhaaa & akbar... since the movie is portraying the love of two (atleast one ) great personalities in history, I would expect it to have more depth ... respect, admiration & love evolving between the characters.... hmm.. watching Akbar practising his sword fight & falling in love ?? uhhhh.... very kiddish !!

I agree, there is no depth in the movie, its either historically correct or as a sensual romantic movie. Hrithik looks and acting is good.
