I don't know about Imraan or Genelia, the way the movie involves the audience into the story, its fantastic. Just like the character 'Mala'.
Hats off to the writer and director who made character so important to the film.5 minutes scenes of Naseer, Aditi's Bro 'Amit's', rondlu...not a single minute of the film could be avoided. enjoyed totally..
I don't think even the last scene where the cop says 'terrorist gaana ga raha hai' is forgettable.
if it is not emir ghan's film and if not acted by his sala,,, then movie would have BIG ZERO,,, all stipid supporters come out of this hang over... in south, 4-5 yrs this movie has been made,,, u supporters , r u 5 yrs behind of this era... ?

hi smash...i m with u on this...this really is a bullshit movie...sad that this movie is working well...
Jaane tu.. is One Of The Best Films This Year..Acting Doesn't Depend of being a nephew or something.. Imran is a superb actor..Bcoz he has the skill.. & I feel, people who don't know Wat A movie Should Be Like..Should comment on acting or somethin.. thanx..
The origial Malayalam movie Niram was released in 1999 and starred Shalini and K Boban and was a big success. It was officially remade in Tamil in 2001 and again starred Shalini and Prashant. If Aamir can officially remake Tamil movie Ghazni, why can't he acknowledge the original for Jaane Tu as well? Perhaps Abbas Tyrewallah hid hat fact from him and pretended that it was his own? ;)
Jaane Tu is a shameless copy of Malayalam hit (released 10 years ago) titled NIRAM (Color). While spending such huge sums (and earning so much back) it is disheartening to see that the likes of Aamir Khan and Abbas Tyrewallah have not acknowledged/credited the original filmmaker!
