I dont know how our trade analyst review this movie. They love to criticize SRK films but this time its really impossible to do so because public got crazy after watching this move. Most of them use mindblowing,fabulous etc to describe the movie. So ASF(anti SRK force) has to wait for his next movie to start their job again.

I am happy hear that he is not SRK in this movie. Except 'swades' [in parts] SRK has remained SRK in all his movies.
the film was not usual as other films it also encourages hockey in this cricket dominated country and shahrukh's performance was exeptional.---siddharth

Dear friends, I am a big Shahrukh khan fan but after watching Chak de India I am very dissapointed with his poor performance. Salman Khan is better star than him. I think Salman khan is the only super star in the bollywood. From his poor performance in CHAK DE INDIA, it is now clear that he is not the king of bollywood. He is just an average actor. Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Amir Khan are better actors then self-made king of the bollywood SHAHRUKH KHAN. He should forget his poor performance in Chak De India and should try to give good performance by acting in the movies like VEER ZAARA. I am really dissapointed with his poor performance in CHAK DE INDIA.

Because, producers have never lose their money investing on these superstars. Actually, DDLJ, DTPH, Mohabbatain, Devdas, Veer-Zara, Main Hoon Na etc etc. are some worst films of Indian Film Industry. Mister you are trying to demean someone without knowing the facts. Do you agree that his romantic movies don't have much script? Then how does it run? It gets a strong initial purely based on SRK's box office appeal just like it used to do for Amitabh in 1970s and 80s when his movies were devoid of scripts. Also, movies of Amitabh also had heroines with equal roles. Have you seen Great Gambler? Zeenat had an almost equal role to AB in the film. Same for Muqudar Ka Sikandar where Vinod Khanna or Rakhee had power roles too not to mention Rekha. What about Trishul or Deewar? Shashi Kapoor and Nirupa Roy had powerful roles too. A film cannot be made by having hero alone. But there is something in a superstar hero because of which audiences throng to see the movie. DDLJ was run purely oN SRK's charm and energetic performance in the film. Same for KKHH or Devdas. He is the central character in almost all his films. So you are right off target and i think it is intentional as you are jealous of SRK when you say that he didn't make any of his movies hits. Also, what happened to JBJ or Dhoom or Tara Rum Pum PUm which were Yashraj films? Could they even get half the collections of what Yashraj movies with SRK like Veer Zaara or Mohabattein or DTPH (i am not even mentioning biggest blockbuster DDLJ)?????? And if you are in your sane mind you will know what was the factor in these films that made the films super duper hits!!!!!

Aarey Raju, u seem to be dubious as to whether Shah Rukh may be demeaned. You compared with Amitabh. He became superstar of his own, not made by media. Shah Rukh does not have that charishma like Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna or Amitabh Bachchan. Nor will he get their stature.

Honestly I say SRK's acting and movies are not worth watching. He is a overrated star & didn't deserve to be in top 10 heroes of today. He is not a natural actor & overacts too much.
If U want to know what acting is watch movies of Ajay, Govinda, Hrithik & Amir's movies.
