After such a long time, Indian cinema is getting to see a nice film. 2007 has been such a bad year with barely any super hit.. FINALLY, when a good film comes along, we are finding faults, pointing that it is a copy and criticising it...
Why are we so cynical? Why cant we be happy? When Shah Rukh does a DDLJ, people say he is repetitive and does only romantic roles. When he does a Swades or a CHak De, they say others can do it better.. What are we looking for?? Have we decided not to appreciate a good job wen it is done??? I have already seen Chak De twice and I think it rocks! SRK has given one of his most convincing performances ever.
And yes, for the uninitiated, Rang De Basanti was 'inspired' from The Jesus of Montreal, Black was similarly 'inspired' and inspired frame to frame at that, from The Miracle Worker. So?? BIG DEAL! They were good films individually as well.. I think it's time we learn to give praise where it's due..

Well, we all know that those who critisise king khan it is out of their personal reasons knowing fully well that none on earth cn be another SRK and this simply turns them mad, languid and emaciated in mind. Let us have mercy on those "satans" and leave them to the mercy of God.As far as chak de India is concerned, it is the best film not only for thee year 2007 but for the history of Indian cinema, so go guys and gals......"chak de india"

Well Said Mate... People do not want to appreciate good things in life.. they simply criticise for the sake of it.... I have already seen CDI 6 times in 3 days... and I feel that it is the best movie in years... and certainly the Movie of 2007. SRK's Second best role ever. Chautaala Rocks big time...

very well said. most people just say things out of jealousy. and most people watch SRK to criticize him. waste their time and money to earn jealousy when they know that they will hate srk no matter what the subject is. we should learn to put movie above actors. its a team effort. and CDI is a good example of modern cinema just like RDB & Omkara.

Thanks guys, for your response.. I hope that some people who need to read this, are reading it.. :)
Because this role does not suit his personality. he has not played the role honestly and had taken 10 crores. This role could be played be Nana patekar who could have taken only 10 lakh. Producer has simply wasted his money.
RE:SRK could have been replaved by Nana patekar in CHAK-DE for ...?

u mad or what...nana patekar is nothing in front of shahrukh...dude u need to have a pesonality also for doin such kind of a role....nobody cud have dopne it better than shahrukh...
Thats right people. bollycopy is gonna be sued for a whooping 120 crores for partner. Chak de could follw suit as well for their blatant lift from "the mighty ducks".
chak de is a copy as well. Its a lift from the movie "the mighty ducks".
1.The first scene is the penalty shoot where Emilio Est?z would loose the penalty shot and be thrown out of the Ice hockey team. returns as a coach.
2.The scene where the girls in the hindhi version fight in a Mcdonalds is a direct lift where his(Emilio Est?z) team would pick up a fight in a bar.
3. The team would also be facing a strong team but even thought they where to loose that game, they would get accolades like this team gets for facing a mens team.
i am not happy with SRK performance.actually this role should be played by amitabh bacchan i have seen him glucose ad he looks quite energetic than SRK.
RE:SRK should be replaced by BIG B

I dont want to debate weather SRK or Big B is good for this role, this movie is for an indian, and we should appreciate the effort made for such movie.. think as a team
Yeh !!! Its indeed a rocking come back for both SRK & Hockey as the Game. Movie very real & very close to each one of us. Everyone knew the ending, bt none of the audience was off seats till the credits ended. A Movie worth a watch after a long long time.
