SRK is at his best in this movie...the movie is just superb...very fast paced and there is no moment when you get bored..a must must watch!! The King Khan returns..and how...
shah rukh khan has given probably his career best performance. congratulations to the producer, director, and all the wonderful actors for having given us a lovely film

The Film is based on true story of Indian Hockey player Mir Ranjan Negi . Negi was the unfortunate goalkeeper of the Indian Hockey Team which lost 7-1 to Pakistan in Asian Games Hockey Final , back in 1982 . Though the loss was engineered by faults of the entire team, Negi the goalkeeper was dubbed the villain, and was even tagged as a traitor . Such accuasations brought about an untimely End of Negi%u2019s international career. Negi redeemed his lost glory 16 years later, when he coached the Indian Men%u2019s Hockey team in Bangkok Asian Games 1998 , where the team fetched Gold medal. Chak De is not acopy movie. Its true story of Mr. Mir Ranjan Negi. Who was a goal keeper of that paticular India-Pakistan match where India shamelessly loose by Pakistan. And total blame went to Mr. Mir. And after several years he took command of women hocky team which won the commonwealth game for India. Mr. Mir himself admit the fact of this film. So please stop your idiotic & nonsense work.

that is stupid and wrong dude. according to your real story, the guy was the golie but in this movie sharuk is the forward(and the best as well), in the "a mighty ducks" as well the hero is the best forward defence.
Dont try to defend the thiefs 'cause defending criminals would techincally be punishable by law.

I think its fair to say that the film carries a mix bag of copying and original idea .
I have just come out watching this movie and people were calping in the hall as if it were a real life hocky match!!! the movie is amazing entertaining,inspiring,emotional,comic-witty scenes...everything u want it is there.I got my money back ...it is worth watching..I can watch even twice...Chak de India...Zulfikar ali ,Singapore
