I have just home after watching Chak De India in Jaya cinema in KOLKATA. And belive or not I have to buy tickets in black for matinee show at 100 Rs. And after watching the movie I admit that I am very satisfy person. And I take more than 100 Rs. as return in my mind. Its brilliant movie. I am working in a S/w company. So I think I will advice our HR to show this movie to our all stuff. So that they can learn that how one work in a teem. Its really a inspiring and learning movie. As per SRK I am not a SRK fan till I watch the movie. But I become a SRK fan now. Cheer up SRK. you have to do this kind of movie more. Bye.

I seriously cannot believe that any Indian woman is writing such a thing after properly having seen the movie Chak De. This movie is about the circumstances depicted and the irony that it represents. This movie is about the women of India, and what they are capable of doing. Shweta, if you have been so blind so as to be unable to capture the true essence of this movie, I seriously feel sorry for you....you really need to get a life!!

shweta, sometimes the cine-world can give us a good jolt into changing status quo, making us realize some essential lessons we had forgotten along the way, and pave the way for a better new reality...at least this movie has started a conversation about hockey and led to a new outstanding coach(suspiciously dated around Aug 13th) for our National Women's Hockey team(which was still lacking basic facilities despite having won the 2002 CommonWealth Games) to prepare them for the upcoming Asia Cup in September...so there you go...sometimes cine-stuff can lead to a turn for the better in the real world, so that now our Women's team can actually stand a chance....but i understand where folks like you are coming from...u have lost your dreams and your soul that can feel enthusiasm....i think that people, especially women, who disliked Chak De, are either heartless or brainless, or both...and like i said...i can't stop feeling sorry for a jaded lot like you!

Most of the khan's cannot act. The only khan that shows some proficiency in acting is amir khan. As you said SRK is an overactor, that shows you the skill set of bollywood leading men. The fascination with fair & lovely leading ladies has led to imports from the west. Soon masala directors will include russian/eastern european blondes in traditional sas-bahu movies with an european twist. heh

V.True - Aamir is a descent actor - others came up just because there were no other good films at that point of time and people made the average films in to a superhits. There are better films than the Khan hits. I would say AB is still a better one in Hindi and Aish a better actress (not just because she is M.W)

The bacchan's both bapuji and putra suck too. Aish can't act even if her life depended on it.
