One thing you've got to admit, the Bachchans and Rais have handled themselves with a lot of dignity. There isn't any vulgar display of wealth or even of there is, none is visible to us (unlike Sahara chief's sons' weddings). All's very happy-happy but am a bit skeptical about how long it is going to last...

Amitabh bachchan stands nowhere in front of Sahara chief Subroto Roy in terms of wealth.Subroto Roy spent some 1500 crores and i don't think bachchans and rai's have this much money to spend on wedding ..so it would be stupid to compare these two wedding ...
