RGV should have tried something else as in: 1. A comedy called Choley , with same cast as before with as many oldies who are alive and they've grown old and now their kids takeover with real kids like Abhi, sunny and bobby.
2. Or With the real kids like Abhi, Sunny or Bobby as real characters Jai and Veeru.
This new cast is very loose and don't know how it'll work...RGV has not tried comedy many times This would've been a good chance. No one can beat the original Sholay.
I think Ramesh Sippy saved RGV indirectly. Jai and Veeru both r bakwas actor of Aag. RGV have to remake the Sholay by signing actor Like Shotgun for Gabbar and SRK and Sallu for Jai and Veeru.
Hey guys!! do not abuse RGV just for making some bad movies..like nishabd and etc..remember he made satya,company ect also..they were n't bad. every director has a phase..when he commits a mistake going by poor deci making.That doesn't mean that he is to be blamed.Its only for pure entertainment and fun. So lets not lose our teperament . Juts enjoy..as he said he is paying his homage to the movie(Sholay).

Who says Nishabd was bad? Some movies are simply made before time. They are complex enough for an average person to digest. People are constantly enjoying and supporting, 50 yers old fat ugly superstars romancing 18 year old girls ( who could be the age of their granddaughters), shamelessly gyrating with song n' dance , wearing wigs which could fall anytime!! What Amitabh did was a major risky role which required a lot of maturity and personality and it cannot be carried of with such grace by anyone else. Nishabd was a dark, real dark ,masterpiece, unlike other " superstars" dancing shamelessly with actress of their grand daughters age.

guys atleast appreciate , Ram gopal varma is atleast trying to do something new .he is the one of the producers who is encouraging new talent and new concepts.
The major highlight of this movie ( in my humble opinion as a close movie watcher of more than one language), will be the performance of Big B and Mohanlal. Comparison will be made as to who is better ( atleast in this movie), especially after the close contest between Mohanlal and Big B for bagging the National Best Actor award in the movies "Thanmaathra" and "Black" respecttively.
When are we going to get over with this outlandish publicity stunt of a fiendish character called Ramgopal Verma? And look at his nerve, issuing statements to the press that he is 'camera shy'. In fact, all cameras & cameramen must be writhing in agony at the sight of this ugly looking creep who is leaving no stone unturned in making a mockery of a timeless classic.

In that case as per ur opinion the whole thackeray clan is inspired by God Father movie? Sarkar was definetly a movie inspired by GodFather (as confessed by RGV) but calling it a poor copy of God Father is being ashamed of our own movies and shows a sense of inferiority complex in you. Why bring in Thackeray family in to our discussion?The whole talk that 'SARKAR'is base on thackeray clan was publicity gimmick! Sarkar has nothing to do with thackeray family.But RGV was smart to know that if he plays the thackeray card,stupid ppl like u would easily fall for it.I lov indian movies,so my earlier comment was specifically about 'SARKAR'.Ok.Please dont take it personally.

Sarakar was one of the better movies made in Bollywood, compare it to some shit like Kuch Kuch etc, why compare it to Godfather?

Mohanlal is an actor of class. His acting talents are far superior to all the well built but dumb actors in Bollywood
RGV is a kind of director who dares to pick up new topics ,bold too but fails to give them fininshing touch,like see nishabd.All characters were superb , direction was good but theme of movie ? ! An old man in love with 18 years girl!!! That too emotional. Cnnot digest it. Good reason for countr's buddhey. Budddhon ko ummed bandh jayegi. So unrealistic. By the end of movie you find yourself laughing aloud !! What a sinful waste of talented actors and new comer ZIA KHAN Too !
