i will tell you onething yaar. Kamal hassan is the guy who doesnot acts for a money. otherwise he would've been a one of the richest person in india. always he experiments himself with a different character in his movies. and in every character he gives his 100% best.
I dont understand what you mean by "OVER ACTING". tell me any one famous actor who just does "Normal acting"?
Kamalahasan fans are behaving like kids here when they call he is the best and stuffs like that. People who are really good would not boast of anywhere. Here its the opposite.
Anyways, let them cry and see what happens after the movie releases.
They compare him to anybody and behave boorishly when all kamalahasan has got is to over react and doesnot know what is acting. He knows to guffaw cry and make facial gestures which would be best done in Cartoon channels by Tom and Jerry (elongating faces and 100 different make-ups) are done those characters at best. Let him learn to perfect the art of Single role in a movie and don multiple roles when he has perfected single role.

veeruperumal anandan, You dumbo kamalahasan fanatics should be treated @ NIMHANS right away and should be checked with your family members also whether you guys are normal or abnormal human beings.
You guys have gone insane and blabber all atrocious things and expect people to keep quiet about it is it.
You guys keep vommitting and not the guys who are opposing you! Thats what we are also saying if you dont like others other than your idiosyncrasy kamalahasan than you get ouf this place and go to a mental asylum and dont ask others to go to a doctor for check up.

Its just that I watch all the movies and not to hate like you guys do it for other actors! I would take only the positives and would not involve in any misdemeanours/overtures like kamalahasan fanatics!
Maybe you would do it for other actors and go watch movies just to see the negatives and not the positives of the movie(like entertainment for the mass and public in general)

Good films terminology itself is a subjective thing. What you blokes like might not be liked by others! So dont talk about good films like the bloody kamalahasan films(at best he can be classified as a good make up artist now-a-days as he thinks by applying different makeups people would not notice his fallibilities)and make yourself look like a kid lost in the woods.

See I Watch all kinds of films and like the good ones. What am averse is the trend created by the fanatics who blabber saying he is the best and all others are inferior.
They over compare him with likes of Amitabh when he is a legend in his own right. He is much senior person by age and still they drool.
Amitabh is a class act and no one can come closer to him eventhough I would love someone from Tamil films to come closer to him.
Respect all and everyone has their own uinque way of doing things and portraying roles. Its like saying "my wife alone is beautiful" rather than saying my wife is beautiful"

Karthik, Now you are doing the same with Amitabh by maintaining that he is a legend in his own right...Yes...Agreed that hes a great actor, but it doesnt mean that its a cardinal crime or cimimal offence to have other actors compared with him...In terms of career achivements, variety of roles and versatility, there are so many actors who are not just a cut, but also a ladder above Amitabh...Agreed that Amitabh is a superstar and still people drool over him..But that doesnt mean that he is beyond comparison..."Mass Appeal" and charisma even in mid 60-s are the 2 factors which make Amitabh a legend...Likewise Kamal has his own...Both the actors have done crappy movies, crappy roles and overacting...But you should agree that both of them have won national awards as well...Still there sre 2 points which work in favour of kamal - Hes not confined to acting alone...He has got expertise in various departments of filmmaking...He doesnt have a language barrier...He has given his best not only in Tamil, but also in all the regional languages down South and also in some Hindi movies. The best of all in each field are bound to comparison with others...So dont be averse with the trend created by the fans of Kamal alone...Fans of all the actors do the same.

You guys seem to not understand my viewpoint! What am averse is only the overhype you create over such things as he is the only actor and stuffs like that! You guys seem to be overbiased and insensitive to other peoples views and say people didnot understand kamalahasan's movies when there are so many good movies and new directors who are good and it never gets recognition and when kamalahasan sneezes/guffaw cries you guys say its the best!
You have to understand that mate! I would be doing such comments even if other actors fanatics does something like this in a forum. Am also averse to people demeaning/belittling others in the name of fanatascism!
Would criticise anybody abusing someone just becos they like him!
If you are comapring Amitabh and kamalahasan than my bet would be with Amitabh as he is one hell of an actor and best at that! Its my viewpoint!

Good films are not to be taken up by mere fanaticism. I would prefer Mr Bush to see Satyajir Ray, Mrinal Sen, Aparna Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Hrithik Ghatwak, Guru Dutt, Dilip Kumar, Smita Patil, Shabana Azmi's films even. That is Indian cinema. We should respect who were real actors of Indian cinema. Does anybody know Satyajit Ray used to search actors for his films, and Had Ray not been a good actor, how could they instruct actors to act. Same is for Addor Gopalakrishnan and others.. Directors are too actors, but who knows this truth.
No one can ask bush to watch a masala movie ! The movie has a classy scientific script which gave the guts to the producers to request Bush to see the film ! Many persons think that this is a regular useless bollywood flick !
What is news has to covey to us. There is a lot fanaticism prevailing in the mindset of people on the release of a fil, Production values are excelllent, it stars critic's lovable hero and viewers godly hero as playing ten roles in a same movie that is all. Film is a media where eveyrything must be simple and not grand. Second, the actor wants it to be known in the world, he compels Bush to see. If the rating should go for a film whether Mr Bush is forced to accept invitiation of Mr actor, I doubt then films are never takne seriously in the manner that it should be taken. Critics have no such grudge I hope. Rest it is known Hindus did not like the title of the film. If this gain of Kamal, where is the loss?
