Just now saw Dasavathaaram in UK. Movie is very nice. Teh concept is very good.Probably difficult for laymen to understand. 'Even a disaster has a reason to occur..i.e. to save the Earth and mankind!' (whether through hands of God or Nature or manmade'-depends on ur belief-Philosophy vs Science vs Mythology'
Excellent concept. Even if kamal hadnt acted in 10 roles, this movie would have been good for the concept and the leftist ideas of kamal.
Worth Knowing the Double Standards of Kamal Hassan who is now in news for his Blasphemous Movie Dashavataram. Two Years Back Kamal was too prompt to apologise when posters hailing him as 'Prophet Mohammed' hurted few Jihadi's in the City!
I haven't heard of a movie that has received more hype than this. Surely the producer must have spent more than half of the movie budget on publicity alone!

Why do you say that he is Rajinikanth's fan! He might be a kamalahasan hater and not necessarily Rajinikanth's fan!

kamal is not a new entrant into the industry for someone to teach hima lesson..he is one of the all time greats and has come off all hurdles in his career,he is more gutsy and daring unlike you who pisses in the pants before taking a risk...
Almost all national channels are covering the movie well. There are quite a few interviews in NDTV, Headlines today of the Dasavatharam's cast and crew. Rediff, has a seperate section for Dasavatharam news alone. From the trailer stills and promos, it looks like this movie is a must watch! I would prefer watching a gripping Kamal film, rather than seeing Sarkar Raj or any other bollywood crap this summer. After all, Kamal rarely disappoints. Pushpak, Appu Raja, Mayor Saab, Sagar, Ek Duje Ke Liye, Sadma, Hindustani, Chachi 420 are all some of his memorable entertainers. After all many of bollywood hits like Virasat, Biwi No.1, Aakhri Rastha were originally done by him.
Im quite disappointed that the movie could not make it on 6th June. aneways, can wait for one more week with crossed fingers, hands, legs etc for Kamal's Treat!...:-)
the promos look promising...the movie has the slick-flick feel...wish it appeals to the audience...i don't mind spending spending some money on a slick flick!!!
I'm going to hope that Kamalhasan doesnt make it look like some freak show...he is so obnoxiously in love with himself that he'd want to be everywhere in his films.
