I LOVED David Cook from the very beginning.I Screamed so loud...When he was announced the winner.He brought something new in every episode..Davis was brilliant,by not singing a repeat song, on Tues. night..again shows he's ready to keep moving forward. I will by all of his CD's..Best wishes David C. & God Bless.Oh and I don't think he will ever fade out like Taylor Hicks ...Best wishes to both David's I know they will both do Great.
David Cook did show the experience as a well rounded singer compared to David A. That's why David C. won. David A.is a natural born talent singer and will go far once he has the training like David C. but the best man won! BRAVO!!

I have sat and watched Idols since the final 20...and as much as I like big David, little David has by far the better voice....but big David has the look, little David has age on his side, so let's hope he makes a real go of his career......he deserves every bit of it!!!
David Archuleta was definitely much better performer than Cook . Anyway , I really felt disappointed when they announced Cook's name as the winner . Archuleta is soooooooooooooo cuuuute and also sings amazingly .Way to go David Archuleta
It was clear David Archuleta was better in all 3 songs that night than David Cook. All 3 judges knew about it. I am just sad america voted for David Cook for no reason but the racial preference. I just wish D. Archuleta was non-latino white so he could win the hearts of the majority of people. Don't be dissappointed, Archuleta. You can prove those people wrong like Clay Aiken did when he got second.
Although I was so sad about Archuleta not winning, I am happy David Cook has an opportunity to get ahead in life. His previous job a "bartender" imagine now superstar. David Cook on the show always looked somehow arrogant to me. Hopefully, he learned some humbleness from Archuleta. A kid with the greatest talent in the show this season but filled with sincerity, and humbleness. When Cook sang Billy Jeans, I knew he was going to make it all the way. Congratulations Cook although you were not my favorite for your somehow "attitude" but my respects to you for a great contestant and talented singer. Archuleta, whose mom is from the same country as I am, keep on singing kiddo "Can't wait for your album to come out."
Both the Davids were great but COOK deserved the title more.I rooted for u David all the way.Though I'm from Northeast India which u might not know,here in Shillong ROck Rules! Congrattulations again and my mom is estatic for U!
Makes a 58 year old grandma feel like a little ole 20 year old groupie. I was so emotional when David Cook won. I felt pride in being a grandmom and mom. David made me feel almost every song he sang. He's the most sincere and deserving performer I have had the pleasure to see, to date. I actually was late for work cause the station I was listening was playing the newist original song that David sang. I actually could not get out of the car until it ended. I hope that all his good fortune will only add to what already is there. A wonderful performer and a seemingly very vibrant and emotional man. I wish David and his family the very best. Ilona
