aaah man.... can't believe this movie is so close to my early 20's. we were four frends as well but the difference was, we spent our golden time smoking pot and killing time. we could've done something totally different. we could've made a band. i almost gave up on emotions on this bollywood number. perfect music, perfect script, perfect cast, perfect lyrics, perfect dialogues, perfect ART.... 10 out of 10 from me.

the movie is just fantastic.i would like 2 ask u a question.what should just budding singers do who have learnt music for 12 years.give preference to education or try their luck in the film industry.are there any high quality politics played.please suggest as in view of a director.thank you.

A must watch. Do go see it if you haven't already! This is going to be a cult movie! Farhan Akhtar was just the right choice for the role. He surprises you as Aditya Shroff. He portrays two phases of his life just too well. Arjun Rampalas Joe is so cool. And Shabana Goswami who played his wife Debbie is awesome too.
Nice movie indeed. Superb acting by all specially Farahan and Sohana. All characters were well crafted and nicely played by the actors. Can someone let me know the english song which Purab sang at the Channel V party.

Yes....that song was catchy wasn't it? Its Gloria Gaynor's 'I will survive" ....also sung by Diana Ross I think.
If Sankar Mahadevan have used nu-metal,bass guitar (LinkinPark,Metallica kind) for all the songs, this move could have secure "all time ever green movie" place...
Already watched it before even thinking of watching it again, such was the awesome talent, amazing voice and superb acting (if not real life) of Farhan, coupled with rocking powerhouse performances of Arjun, Purab, Luke & Prachi. I'd go watch it again n again, the best rock movie ever made in India. Hollywood sucks in comparison, n thr's no such thing as Bollywood, it's pure Indian movie magic.
