I can understand with all other names except Amithabh.... What the hell is his name doing in this list....How can Rediff miss out on Mallika Sherawat and Shilpa Shetty. They are the most over rated actors in Bollywood.

Mallika and shilpa ar not evn actresses and you can easily put them on the list of posh and expose.
well the ratings are close to perfect though i just disagree about amithab bachaan because the topic says most over rated and i dont think so he is over rated,he is a very good actor who has choosen the worst possible roles after his comeback with mrityudata,he should never have come back and his legacy would have been intact. Finally you should have added one liner-every female actor in hindi movies are over rated for no one is even worth to be rated.

Yeah all the other actress who "sort" of acted in hindi movies, ar the ones tht does the "offbeat" roles i.e shabana azmi,konkana sen,nandita das,tabu.
Those few actresses anyways have not workd full time in bollywood since ther ar no roles to tht is useful for some of the above mentiond actresses.
So yeah, all actresses in hindi movies ar overrated.
all non marathi actors and actresses are over rated.... best actors are nana patkar, mamta kulkarni, sonali kulkarni, ritesh desmukh, madhuri dikshit,isha koppikar and urmila mantodkar

abe dumbo, he actually meant tht Rajnikant doesnt belong to Bollywood.
This is one of the more sane items to have come out of the Rediff stable. I find the list to be almost an echo of my thoughts EXCEPT for the inclusion of SRK. Come on guys, give the guy his due. No less a person than Aamir Khan has called him a "good actor". I can understand you wanting to tear down famous people, but this kind of criticism is entirely misplaced and self-defeating.
Come to think of it, if you don't like SRK, just don't give him the attention. It's really that simple. Your hysterical rants are getting amusing now. You're the guys who termed "Eklavya" Oscar-material right? With THAT kind of credibility, I'm not sure how you have the gall to even run this Web site. Losers!

Have u seen eklavya. I think it was a superb movie. I really liked the movie. Amitabh was brilliant.West media praised the movie very much. They consider it as a brilliant movie.

Thn how come it didn't gt acceptd in the final nominations of oscars, golden globes,or the independnt spirit awards.
Irfhan khan and tabu got the most praises in the west and also deepa mehta's water got praised.
Eklavya ws an embarassing entry from indian cinema like tamil film jeans,hindi films paheli,devdas.
