he is not confident in this acting skills and that is the reason he is finding more avenues like cricket clubs where he can hatch eggs in different baskets so that he gets at least one, he is more of a marketing person, knows how to make money doing different business. acting part is just over rated, over acting, not natural at all. although his films have done well, it was mostly due to the songs, story and big banners and his over acting which was kind of new at that time when he debut, but now he should think that he is just acting the same roles again and again which is making public annoyed and boring. It is good that he is going to business line, he might be successfull in it although underground links are to be probed. Time will say what actually he is an actor or a businessman.

Well, thts wht he exactly does now and assumin from tht, he probably planned it tht way b/f entering movies.
what a bore this man is, cant watch his movies - nuaseating. His old movies are classic junks, the thin skinny fellow a superstar? ossibly the crowds at that times were really starved of entertainemtn to watch him, it was famine of 70s & 80s that made him a superstar. He shaould take sanyas in lanka.

You are right and I do'nt know why people have stuck this bluff for such a long time. He reminds me of the story about Emperor with no cloth on but everyone praising the cloth. Hope you got my point. Arup

I agree. Rajnikant is the most overrated actor of the decade. He does the same thing in every movie, no variation.
