Why are you putting religion here? Why don't you say so for those writting about Shahrukh. I am Muslim and still I don't like that SRK while I adore Big B. Religion shouldn't be the case and mustn't be talked about in each and every useless occasion.
Shahrukh Khan is easily the most over-rated actor around.The media simply can't get over him!The only two movies in which he has actually ever performed are Swades and Chak de!India.Frankly Mr.Khan,give us a break!

Even in chak de india, his performance is exactly like in swades. Although diff.characters, but the sketch of his characters ar exactly the same.
In swades, he works in NASA and returns to his village in india and tries to improve his village's infrastructure and disregard caste systems. In chak de he is rememberd as a traitor and he comes back as a coach to take the women's hockey team to b.come champions and improve team work,spirit,etc... of sport.
Both srk's charactrs have to regroup people and put new ideas and disregard old fashioned indian culture on not moving forward.
Frankly, he only acted really good in swades and never hammed it up, but tht movie ws a flop. In chak de, he never can beat his earlier "acting" of swades nevrtheless, the hockey theme and entire sports theme ws the reason for box office success.
quite a few i believe..SRK, AAMIR, AMITABH, ABHISHEK, SAIF. DONT KNOW WHAT WRONG HAVE PEOPLE LIKE DHARMENDRA, SUNNY, JAAVED JAAFRY, AKSHAY KUMAR DONE NOT TO BE TERMED AS GOOD ACTORS. I THINK DHARMJI IS ONE OF THE BEST ACTORS INDIA HAS EVER HAD AND IT IS A PITY HE DOES NOT GET RECOGNITION. CAN ANYONE IMAGINE APNE NOT GETTING THE RECOGNITION INSPITE OF BEING ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES OUT OF BOLLYWOOD LAST YEAR. ON THE FLIP SIDE HAD APNE HAD AMITABH SRK AND OTHERS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A MAJOR HIT AND ALL AWARDS WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE MOVIE. THE BASIC STORY OF APNE AND CHAK DE INDIA WAS THE SAME AND SEE WHERE CHAK DE IS. DHARAMJI SHOULD HAVE WON THE BEST ACTOR HANDS DOWN WHERES IT WAS SRK WHO IN NO WAY IS ANYTHING THAT HE IS MADE OUT TO BE. I REMEMBER SHEKHAR KAPOOR SAYING ON TV THAT AMITABH DOES A LOTS OF NAUTANKI. PEOPLE WAKE UP AND GIVE DUE RECOGNITION WHEREVER DUE. NOTE:CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW CAN OSO BE NOMINATED FOR THE BEST FILM CATEGORY AND NOT APNE IN THE FILMFARE AWARDS...HA..HA..HA..IT WAS A JOKE.
Shah Rukh Khan, most over rated, It's all media's fault. One thing i still do not understand== why on earth, they call him KING, what do they mean by that ot it might be a desi way of calling a movie super star 'a KING'.Are you reading media??????? Never heard king of hollywood.

why sachin is called master blaster when he performs once in every 10th match.Its just media hype which make super human out of just good men.
Without a doubt Aamir Khan whose hype is not matched by performance takes the first prize. Any recent film is an example: the idiotic RDB or the much hyped Fanaa or MPandey. Only his fans can lap up such overrated performances. And if you dig deeper comes a long list of crappy movies like Raja Hindustani etc. This man has neither the physical attributes to be an actor (short, over-aged boyish, soft appearance) nor has he any acquired skills like dancing or fighting which are absolute requirements for our films! Next in line is Big B who is clearly living on past glory and erstwhile performances as angry young man, now angry old man. SRK atleast makes no bones of catering to mainstream cinema. Anil Kapoor too is like SRK although both have done some good work. Of the list provided only Kamal Haasan continues to strive for better performances, although he may not be always entertaining- he is clearly in a league of his own. There are some like Naseer and Manoj who have made the most of their talent, despite clearly lacking mass appeal talents. Rani is clearly not in the same league, crying mummy is not acting. Heroines have been reduced to ornamental pieces now, a far cry from Sridevi/ Rekha days.

I agree w.you a little bit about aamir. But aamir has a little versaitily in terms of doing an earth,mangal pandey, lagaan, TZP. In all these movies he's managed to become the character and we're not seeing the short,over-aged boyish,soft appearance in some of his recent roles excludin RDB. But i wouldn't put him on the list the includes bachan,srk,anil kapoor.
Aamir too has a league of his own in bollywood, you got to admit to tht.

Such a vitrolic attack on seemingly 'great' actors!!....hatz off to u for speaking ur mind....u are bang on abt SRK ...he is not all pretentious whatever his other faults ...Aamir tho fairly talented is a pseudo.... big b WAS a fine actor but needs to quit...Kamal rockz tho!!....i don't know how rediff had the nerve to include his name in this 'illustrious' list....heroines are only fit for skin show nowadays...except an odd Chitrangada or Konkana

Aamir is one of the few actors of substance alive in Bollywood.He holds a place in Indian cinema just like Tom Hanks.Do you know he was invited by a reputed british university students after Laggan,because after seeing Laggan their mindset about Indians changed a lot.There is no doubt his acting is recognised globally.He has the best percentage record when it comes to giving hits.Man just think before you say anything about people.Your are a very narrow minded person.Actors are defined by their acting not by their height or appearance.
