Most stupid, weired and overhyped actor. Dont deserve to be called as king khan. Even he cried more than an actress in almost all movies and never deserve king title. He most be queen khaan. Especially in chak de. He do overacting most of the time and act as a comic actor.

any moron, even an Unleashed could get a film fare for chack de, there was nothing for actors, it was sotry and director who made difference
First of all, u all people r only partially correct in voting SRK as the most over-rated actor....yes he is/was over-rated even after some of his ridiculous movies like OSO, Guddu, Ram-jaane, DON,etc. %u2026.but the same Khan gave us gr8 movies like DDLJ (the evergreen), Swades, chak de, Veer Jaara, etc%u2026%u2026 %u2026..the ratings/over-rating is all bcoz of media or the distributors %u2026.who hype the movie even if it%u2019s a piece of crap (E.g Saawariya, OSO)%u2026%u2026%u2026as we look around the current actors, very few of them has come-up the hard way like SRK, first thru some the endearing TV series like Fauji, Aakhri Keval, Circus then entering in movies thus elevating the intensity of performance in his movies like Darr (Unforgettable performance), Baazigar%u2026%u2026.if we look-around, now-a-dayz the only new face we see in the movies is the son/daughter/sister/brother of some past actors, it doesn%u2019t matter if they have possess any acting skill or not, Best examples %u2013 Fardeen khan, Zayed khan, Tushar kapoor, Esha deol, Ranbir kapoor, Sonam kapoor & u%u2019ll lose count%u2026%u2026. so at least we can thank that SRK doesn%u2019t belong to those set of actors who have their maa/baap/chacha/chachi/nana to influence their entry into Bollywood%u2026%u2026plzz don%u2019t forget even the current good ones too had some way or the other had some influence to get their ticket to Bollywood Hritik %u2013 Son of Rakesh Roshan Aamir khan - He is a descendant of Lat

What you are saying is again partially true. First of all I don't really see why this s/o-d/o actors/actresses came into this. It is a simple question which needs a simple answer and a little justification for ur choice. Even after u have wrote this much the fact "is" that SRK is the most over rated actor. There is a reason why so many people say so and u can't question them.
Remember being s/o-d/o actor/actresses bring an added burden. People compare them with their fathers/mothers. People who are of the first generation have nothing to lose. If they win they can boast of doing it alone. And those who coudn't...well who remembers them then?
None other than Mr Shahrukh Khan. 1. His movies are big budget extravaganza where people want to see Manish Malhotra's creations, songs, music, Indian family drama etc. One sincere advice - all his hype is because of people like us who keep discussing him. More discussions (be it -ve), more publicity and higher the star status. 2. Someone earlier commented that he is the biggest entertainer. I would completely disagree: Real entertainers have been Govinda, Aamir Khan & now Akshay Kumar. 3. Out of all the so-called No. 1 stars (not actors) of different genres like - Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Rajnikant in South & now SRK, SRK is the only one who is hated by at least 50% population. This is a contradiction, how can you claim no. 1 status with so many people hating you?
Come on... this man made his charecrots legends in Fauji,Darr,Bazigaar,Raju Ban jaya gentle man,Kabhi ha kabhi na,DDLJ etc. Infact after TV serial Fauji, this guys was snatched by bollywood from small screen(TV) when people acting cinema used to look down upon people working tv serials.
Yes, u ppl r right that in recent years he just repeating himself.

Raju ban gaya gentleman!!! Kabhi ha kabhi na!!!! dude. have you seen Manoj Bajpai's acting in "Road"? And the author of this article, whoever it is, has not seen any movie of Naseeruddin shah or kamal hassan. Dont you think SRK claiming superstar with a handful of good movies is over-rated?

Manoj Bajpai was useless in Road and that film was a super dud.I hav nothng aganist Manoj Bajpai and consider the roles in films like Satya & shool was mindbogling.But Manoj Bajpai or Kamal Hassan brilliant roles in their films wont make SRK a bad or over rated actor.These things r mutually exclusive.

Boss, SRK has bought rediff and most of the media chaps... in this article he tried to degrade the people whom he fear most - Amitabh and Aamir. But if you read the posts below, he has made a fool of himself, SRK is the unanimous over-rated butt hole in bollywood ever
This is very rare that majority people are unanimous on SRK. This is mind blowing. SRK is another Rajesh Khanna. Other poor actors like Sunil Shetty are better. At least they doesn%u2019t say..I am the best!

SRK never calls himself that he is the best. More over he calls himself a joker . He is the one who seconded Aamirs view that Aamir Khan is No one in bollywood now.
And about the verdict ,let me tell u SRK wont even spit on such polls on rediff as long as his movies keep doing record business of the year and he keeps getting more filmfare awards.

That is because of he is cute looking and became gay as well. He dont know acting but dresses very well in all movies and all those typical and finite styles he used to adopt. That is what shahrukh. People love to see that all the time and they watch movie in theatres. That gives investor's money. Dude try to see critic by ur eyes and see that shahrukh dont deserve to be a side actor even.
She has the looks, but shes not an actor. She can't act. Every movie you see with ash in it , you see ash and not the character or the role she plays in the movie.

She is a model, Rebecca. What more can we expect from her ? She has improved lately , though.
It definitely has to be Shahrukh. I used to consider Akshay Kumar as well, but he himself admitted that he doesn't know acting. SRK, oh man! I was forced to watch Om Shanti Om because of my friends and what a 'Bheja Fry' movie. Even Bheja fry and Mithya were far better movies than the OSO.
