Its no surprise Rediff ommitted SRK in the list for its prohype site.
After hearing about OSO as a hit by hype, it is no reason to disbelieve SRK as the most over rated actor ever in bollywood next to none. SRK can announce his OSO as the Nareal film of bollywood if he is honest.

Yeah, OSO wsn't even a film, so the Na-real film award will be perfect for OSO.
Ther ws this recent annual central european bollywood awards and it ws a popular awards as usual. Not suprisingly OSO ws the best film w/farah takin the best director award, and also srk taking the best actor award and aishwarya taking in the best actress award.
In india we know how dumb hindi audiences ar, but in europe they ar even worser. As they announced the same nominees as in india. The change ws vidya balan and mithun chakraborty winning for best supporting actor/actress, and diff. newcomer and not ranbir winning it, best script wnt to mani ratnam.

I have been going thru the responses and would like to state my point of view.
Most of us have mentioned the names of starts we do not like as over-rated actors. Have we ever wondered how many allow our "stars" to become actors. An Amitabh does a "Main Aazad hoon" or an "Aks" or a "Nishabdh" and we pull him down.
An SRK does a "Swades" and we give it the royal ignore. A Rajnikanth does a "Raghavendra Swami" and we ignore it. Dust the cupboards and you will find instances for any actor/actress.
When we do no appreciate the efforts put in by actors to etch out decent characters and turn in good performances and patronize their body of craft that does not require effort from them, how on earth do we expect them to grow as actors.
We want them see them as stars, the moment they want want to become actors, we have a problem. They go back to being starts and we rile them for not being actors.
Filmfare award is given on votes. I do not know if this year any artiste including Aaamir or Tabu really acted very well? Tabu walked so easily in the role, and for half-time role, do we give any actor, filmfare award just like Aaamir Khan. Will Filmfare announce something better next year? I should not comment on SRK at all. Let filmare reply. Poor Shammi Kapoor and Asha Parekh, they have received only once filmfare trophy! This is Indian Cinema.
rajnikanth-he is being paid 20 crores rupees and people come in queue of 2 kilometers to watch his movie.Thats incredible...Mister Kamal Hasan-being despite great actor can not compare his fame with him. Shahrukh-in bollywood SRK rules and defeat Amir and other great actors the way Rajni rules in Tamil Cinema. Salman-The day he made his Solid Body,he left his acting ability,he looks silly in dialouges,but he is mostly hyped. Its an insult to great actors like Irfan Khan,Pankaj Kapoor,Kay Kay,Manoj bajpai,they are less apid in comparison to Aftab,Zayed ,fardeen khan who are worst in acting, Abhishek and Jhon are the 2 actors who are very famous and being loved by crowd,but acting wise they are zero.

i dont know what does rediff criteria for abusive message....i posted certain messages where i i asserted my opinion about mr .mohanlal being one of the greatest actors..under the topic mohanlal rules...and i believe that i expressed my opinion in a very decent and straightforward way...and to my utter dismay...i cannot find my posts ...my posts have been removed...can rediff give an explaination for this..i certainly believe that i asserted my views in a cordial way...i s it the reason that rediff does not favour southern actors being lauded...i believve that everyone have the right to back the best and express it ...that my dear rediff is called freedom of expression...and being such an respected community ..its utterly shameful of u...its a pity if it that way...then why do u put a topic for discussion like "who is the most OVERRATED ACTOR IN INDIA"...U COULD HAVE BETTER PUT IT...."WHO IS THE MOST OVERRATED IN BOLLYWOOD"..deart rediff i ask u an detailed explaination for this ...REPOST MYTHE VIEWS THAT I HAD EXPRESSED HERE....or iam not going to participate in any of ur discussoins and i will see to it that none of my friends willl..........i know u r not going to post this also....classifying as 'abusive'....as freedom of expression "abusive" for u
i think amnong actors srk is the over rated. i got 2 see that again in filmfare awards recently.there wer other desrrving actors like shahid for jab we met n akshay kumar.but eventually the award went 2 srk.2 much yar.he's just getting awards unecessarily becoz of his star status.
among actresses,i wud definitely say its rani mukherjee.since the beginning of her career she has been doing yash raj films n karan johar's films except 2 or 3 films like yuva wid mani ratnam n black with bhansali.last year in 2007 her 2 releases wer from yash raj banner[tararum pum,laaga chunari me daag] n saawariya which bombed.she shud try 2 move out of that banner for a while n try somethng different.we got bored by seeing her opp. srk&abhishek.in 2008 also she has stuck 2 yash raj banner n has 3 releases from that banner.
rani,learn something from ur colleagues like kareena kapoor who did commercial films[k3g,aitraaz,hulchul] as well as offbeat films like dev,chameli,omkara. i know that u have talent but dat's not enough. u need 2 try to do something different n entertain ur fans.kareena,for example has done variety of roles in her short span of her career like k3g,refugee,dev,chameli,aitraaz,jab we met,tashan,omkara,asoka..

Dude, whn ws filmfare a credible award and not to mention the other half a dozen bollywood awards in a year. All of thm have same nominee and same winners.
In 2007 filmfare awards, only 2 strong contenders wer ther and thts TZP and guru, sadly thy evn left out metro.
Abhisek deservd the award mor thn any others and no one deserved the award in the best actress category.
Kareena-only good film ws chameli-no overacting. Kareena is the exact version of rani mukherjee.
I suggest both these actress learn from konkona sen.
I must congratulate Rediff for proving once again that Rediff is SRK's bootlicker.
Else how can one explain Amitabh in the list after Eklavya and Cheeni Kum?
How can one explain Aamir Khan after TZP?
But after such a horrible movie like OSO [This was a Classic for Rediff!], SRK is not even mentioned.
SRK is a BIG STAR today. No contest! But the question is Most Over-rated Actor...
SRK has been playing himself and repeating himself for ages now. Except Chak De India, I don't remember him doing any justice to the role. He is always SRK, be it while playing Ashoka or Rahul Singhania.
