top 10 overrated actors 1.sanjay dutt(only suited for don roles & is too old) 2.salman khan(he irritates) 3.SRK(he hams) 4.abhishek bachhan (survived 18 flops because of his bachhan surname) 5.sunny deol(one dimensional and too old) 6.dharmendra(unintentionally comic actor) 7.vivek oberoi(he overacts) 8.ranbir kapoor(he has one flop to his credit but is being praised like anything.another abhishek bachhan in the making) 9.ashmit patel(got a ticket to bollywood thanks to his sister) 10.tusshar kapoor(average acting skills with below average looks)
While SRK, Salman Khan, Saif, Suniel Shetty et al are below par actors, they dont pretend to be otherwise. Their performances are enjoyable at times, annoying at others.
The 4 guys who are seriously over-rated in the industry for my money (their names coincidentally start with the same letter- A) are Aamir, Amitabh, Ajay & Aishwarya.
These guys are so boring in their appeal but carry a pretense on their abilities. Ajay has got stuck in that "company" mould and hasnt come out of it in Gangajal, Yuva, Shikhar, Omkaara, Apharan, Halla Bol, etc. He was a disaster in Gol maal.
Amitabh is annoyingly similar every new film.
Aishwarya needs to be told to stop looking so goddam pretty for each and every f***ing role.. and that she cannot have the audacity to do accept every role cos she aint normal looking...
The top of the list is the so called Mr Perfectionist..(yaawn..)..his off screen personality is so boring..it puts off.. his performance in his films isnt that great either... agreed his films are good but he is just about average.. exceptions agreed..
When it comes to over-rated actors in the industry, SRK takes the cake hands down!
Althouh, in my opinion, he isn't even an actor in the first place, but for the sake of answering, there is absolutely no doubt that this so-called kkkkking is the undisputed over-rated kkkkking of this poll.
And how come you've put AB's name here???? And you guys are asking "are their best acting jobs behind them?" Friends, AB's not done yet, ok?!? In fact his best acting skills are on display now only. And as they say,"Nau se barah ka show ABhi baaki hai mere dost!"

he is not the best actor today but he acts reasonably well and he was above great in Koi Mil Gaya and he didn't do too much of his dancing in this film.

Ofcourse he did too much of dancing in koi mil gaya, maybe you got bored w.this film and left the theatre.
I cannot think of any other generation where the actor is so much overrated. Yes, he is the bollywood badshah and has been for very long, but that doesn't mean he is a great actor. I liked him in Baazigar, Darr and other intense roles. I didn't like in gayish movies like KKH, Mohabbatein, KKKG, KHNH, KANK etc.
The other 2 that come to mind are Dileep Kumar and Naseeruddin Shah.

Why did you drag Sachin's name in your post, he is not a media created star. I read your post, makes no sense.! Why everybody is hounding SRK- simple reason he is useless. Why nobody hounded greats like Dilip kumar, Rajesh Khanna, AB!. SRK is so mediocre..he sustains on Karan Johar movies and we all know they have a Gang!

SRK is also not a media created star one has to be successful to enter in media ok not just like u....who knows u are u popular.... no just becoz u havent done anything in ur life n in bollywood or may be any field every person has a camp so what SRK is in KJO or YR camp even abhishek n saif are also in YR camp then have they delieverd any success..........
