Breaking News! After his ruse failed, SRK has threatened Rediff that if they publish the results of this opinion poll, he will stop his financial aid to Rediff. He has asked to take away the link from the website. Or else, publish someone else's name instead of his. Raja Sen (representing Rediff), Sajid Khan, Karan Johar have all gathered at his house this evening for an emergency meeting.

I don't know how long it took rediff to announce the most under-rated actor/actress in the previous survey.
Now, its been 4 days since this survey is out and out of 1,102 comments, 95% has stated srk as the most over-rated actor, followed by amitabh bachan,abhishek bachan,aishwarya rai,kareena kapoor, akshay kumar,saif ali khan,aamir khan,rajinikanth.
Yeah, its been only 4 days and i think rediff is waiting for atleast a week to announce but at the same time, ther has been 1,102 comments and isn't tht enough results of atleast 1 website to publish srk is over-rated actor in india.
Over-rated:- Aishwarya, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Karishma Kapoor, and Tom cruise too.
SRK is more a Star than an actor. It is when he does not have to act much that he is a good actor. Otherwise his movies are exclusively for kids - they have all those elements.
Btw, Kunal Khemu looks cools in his new movie (Superstar). He manages to look like Johny Depp. And I saw Tushar Kapoor in an ad, he looks much older in that new hair-do.

Well shilpa hasn't been an actress lately except for metro-average performance as she ws better in phir milenge.
Priyanka chopra isn't tht much of an actress-just an endorsement lady and thts abt it. Kareena kapoor is way too overrated as it is the case w/her sister whn she ws in acting.
Srk is not only an overrated actor, but overrated star,master of ceremony,and t.v show host. I think he has doubts abt his acting since people ar beginning to speak at him tht he isn't much of an actor, but only entertainer.
Srk himslf has admittd tht and now he strts on this rollercoaster ride takin his entertainer status onto the cricket field,endorsements field, and t.v shows.
Now we hav to see his antics evn on t.v and real life, as if his acting antics wsn't enough.
Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan nowadays, many of Hollywood actors like Halle Berry in some movies, Brad Pitt seems like a jack-ass, Angelina Jolie etc etc. I think that all Hollywood actors are appreciated just because we think that they superior to us. This is not digestible to me. Will Brad Pitt ever be able to cry in films like our actors do? Hollywood as a bunch does seem over-rated to a large extent. Many of our films are Oscar quality but don't get an Oscar because of RACIALISM of the judges.

I agree tht brad pitt,angelina jolie ar too overrated b/c of their socialite life and mother teresa activities of both the couples showing off their charity.
But as far as indian films not getting an oscar b/c of racialism of judges is not true. Ther has only been 3 indian films so far in history of indian cinema who entrd oscars:mother india,salaam bombay and lagaan.
If you see other films on the list sent to oscars, they don't really deserve to be in the final four nomination. But at the same time those movies have won at various international film festivals, so thts good.
But no one cares for oscars, the only awards tht does matter ar ones tht ar done at big film festivals and in the past we seem to be doing really good w/satyajit ray,mira nair,shaji kuran,murali nair,adoor gopalakrishnan,mani ratnam,deepa mehta.
In the present few new indian movies ar making it despite the directors mentioned above.
I said it earlier and would say it again ... SRK is the most UNDERRATED actor .... it is a big accomplishment that SRK plays a college kid and emperor asoka with the same expressions and histronics ... best actor ever hands down
Hi rediff, what happened?? in a dilemma? or thinking "paise leliye usse!! ab useeko sabse sada huva actor kaise announce karen?????" u tried to be a bit clever by not including srk's name in the list which has kamal and naseer in it, and now find yourself falling flat on your bottom every time some reader says srk is the most over rated actor!!!! my opinion is that : srk IS the legal winner of this contest!!!
Shahrukh Can't has hands-down won the contest for the most-overrated by a landslide overwhelming margin. All of India has come together to shout out the self-evident truth : " Emperor Khan is wearing no clothes". So, Rediff, give the man his award, while we all watch for the next industrial product to be manufactured and marketed to us by the D-company.
