Greatness always comes from proper utilization of anger within oneself. Rajni really did a good job at it. Besides, color of skin, Rajni had rustic emotive capability that can don villan and hero roles with equal flair unmatched anywhere-else. This could be the two main reasons for his popularity in the demographically darker inclined peninsular india. He identified his insecurities with the the insecurities of the people in tamil nadu, combined it with raw movie actor energy with immense potential, and the result is for everyone to see.
I was never able to understand how a swish sound comes when rajini waves his hand. Why he throws in cigarette or beedi and people think its a style .. why a very poor dancer and a poor actor like rajini is considered a super star only in TN and not outside world ..

Only in TN? Sivaji without subtitles ran so well in the North that its considered a hit without the hindi version. Which other film has this feat? A tamil film doing well outside TN without subtitles, without dubbing??

i never able to understand how AB's voice sounds as if he is constipated for years. i dont know how a stupid actor like SRK who is always crying on the movie is considered the king of bollywood dont know why bollywood ppl always go to UK even for a flop movie's premier show Dont know how a stupid bollywood actor is considered a very big star after he removes his shirt or drops his towel ?

Most people ar not fond of the same jackie chan kind of movies, but still his movies in english b.comes a huge hit b.c of his martial arts.
Jackie chan is trained in martial arts and evrything is done is original and he does not have any certain style.
But rajinikanth has this same style in all his movies and his dialogues ar also wht people will alwys remembr him by. None of his fans go ga ga ovr his acting, thy just love his dialogues,styles,simplicity in his charactr tht envelopes the larger than life status in his fans minds.
Likewise jackie chan is not known for his acting only his martial arts and police/criminal kind of stories. So thts why rajiniknth is similar to jackie chan, just b/c of the rage and hype.

yes.. rajni did not kill any deers and got imprisoned, he did not plan the 1993 bomb blast.. he did not get 6 yrs jail punishment and came out in bail and happily married.. Rajni did not cheat the farmers in UP
