Talent. His ability to entertain. When he dontates money, he donates in Tamil Nadu. His karmabhumi is Tamil Nadu.
I see a lot about Rajini's skin color. Dark skin or good looks don't make any difference in movies. Only your acting skill counts. If looks were everything then would you have the guts to say nazeerudin shah, om puri, Tom Hanks, Woody Allen etc don't deserve to be actors or icons. I do agree that the current genre of movies that Rajini has made does not bring out much of his acting skills. But that is only his current face. Watch some of his older performances including a few black & White (yes, before you were born there were B&W movies) classics. people who have watched those movies know what I am talking about. It is said that actors mature with experience and give great performances in their later part of their career. Rajini defied this logic. He chose not to do heavy acting in his later part. Overall, don't jump to conclusions based on looks. In the field of acting the only thing that counts is acting itself.

You're absolutely right. It's the acting skill which should matter. So, should be the looks. The question is why does Rajni have to put on a wig and paint his face white? He could very well act in the films with as his own self. All the actors that you mentioned in your post does not wear wig or paint their skin. As far as anyone pointing out Rajni's skin color as black is ridiculous. We all are black in the eyes of westerners, so it's a moot point. And what's so bad about having Black skin color?

Rajni is putting wig only for the movie but he comes out in his natural look...All the bollywood actors and all internation actors do the same paiting work before coming on screen.. Bollywood actors are all 40 and they go to UK and do hair transplant and show them young ..Rajni never hide his real face or age. See how he came for NDTV indian of the year award with a simple white kurta.. and look at SRK wearing a leather jacket in the hot summer during 20-20 match..

You should have asked Rajni about NRR master in APS School in Bangalore. Yes, he studied in Acharyapatashala boys high school in N R Colny Bangalore & the only lecturer he was scared of was NRR. He had a huge collection of Raj Kumar, another icon in Kannada industry.
He was a bus conductor for route number 11. Once he had no money to pay his landlord & so landlord threw all the belongings of Rajnis house. Later now, Rajni is owned this house. This house is in Hanumanthnagar.
His route is a different route....better not go in his way.
